Photos and Description of this San Giorgio-Magaro holiday house

On an olive grove, in hillside situation above the village the attached house is located. It was shortly renovated. The ground floor features a bedroom, a shower, a toilet, a bidet, a lavabo and a washing machine. The first floor includes another bedroom, a toilet with lavabo and a large breakfast kitchen. A big, partly covered terrace with sea view and view of the green is situated in front of these rooms. At the roof there is a second deck with fantastic view of the village and the Lipardian Islands. This terrace borders a garden.

During a storm fishermen at the sea prayed to the saintly Georg. They arrived at the coast healthy and called their station S. Giorgio. The village is situated across from the Lipardian Islands, embedded in beautiful scenery. At the edge of the village lies a wide shingle and sandy beach with flat and cliffy sections. Shopping facilities for your daily need are available. There are markets in the neighbouring towns on Fridays and Saturdays.

Fascinating Sicily: This island has always been a destination. Sicily is the largest Mediterranean island and only 180 km away from Africa. This advantageous geographic location has attracted little conquistadors for a long time. The conquerors and liberators have left a rich cultural heritage. Today the Sicilians are not mad at them anymore, because have become the patrons of tourism. A diversified, multifaceted landscape between sea, beach and mountains is admirable. The 3000 m volcano Aetna and its direct surrounding is a unique experience. The climate is sunny and mild, the cuisine is exquisite and the people are friendly.

Excursions: Visit the Greek-Roman theatre and the pilgrimage church in Tindari, the lagoons of Oliveri, the Roman villa and the old town of Patti, the Norman minster and Medieval town of Cefalù, the Greek theatre of Taormina, the lovely old town in dream location, the kitchen and the fort, the volcano Aetna, the Lipardian island with hot sources and calderas. Many more attractive destinations are to be chosen from. The nearby Nebrodi Mountains are a fantastic hiking area.

Wir fanden ein attraktives Ferienhaus vor. Die Vermieter waren ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden dieses Ferienhaus jederzeit weiterempfehlen.
Man findet Ruhe, kann aber auch in wenigen Minuten am Leben der Dorfbewohner teilnehmen.

Ausgezeichnete Lage mit herrlichem Ausblick von der Dachterrasse - man kann sich nicht sattsehen! Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, liegt ruhig am Hang, hat gute und nahe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt: Preis/Leistung klasse, sehr empfehlenswert!!

Waren sehr zufrieden. Obwohl es kein freistehendes Haus ist, sondern eines von 4-5 im Verbund gebauten Häusern, ist man sehr für sich, hört und sieht man von den Nachbarn (mehrheitlich Einheimische) fast nichts. Meerblick zu Liparischen Inseln incl. Stromboli, Golf von Patti/Milazzo, Haus liegt am Steilhang - daher viel Meer!
Gut eingerichtet, gediegen + mit Stil. Kleiner Nachteil: eins von zwei Schlafzimmern hat keine Tür zum Treppenhaus.
