This comfortable and spacious holiday accommodation is situated in a self-detached villa consisting of 2 self-contained apartments with separate entrances and built to high standards. This includes a private pool of 8 x 4 m as well as an enclosed parking lot for the exclusive use by the guests. The accommodation of 100 sqm has 2 double bedrooms with 2 bathrooms ensuite, living room with dining corner, fully fiitted kitchen and sun lounge/dining room. The villa with nice sea views is quietly located in an international residential area on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea above a fishing village (no high rise buildings) with kilometres of sandy beaches and all facilities such as restaurants, shops, bus stop, etc. within walking distance. Thus perfectly suited for guests who are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Water sports, golfing, walking, mountain biking and even skiing (1 hour's drive). Best climate of Europe, thus suitable for holidays all year round

The fishing village of Benajarafe is situated 25 km east of Málaga and 7 km west of Torre del Mar, only half an hour's drive from the airport Málaga and the beautiful town of Nerja. This area offers long sandy beaches but also a variable countryside and is not too touristy, yet there are many international restaurants nearby. The food at the restaurants - especially seafood - is delicious, fresh and reasonable. All facilities - such as beach, supermarket/shops, restaurants, doctors, bus stop - are within walking distance of our house. The new beach promenade is the perfect place for long walks, jogging or just a stop at one of the many beach restaurants. The long and wide beach of Benajarafe is equipped with showers, childrens' playgrounds, sun beds and shades (for hire). Enjoy the mediterranean diet, discover colourful street markets, the many fiestas and the joyful temper of the local people. Visit the white villages, where time seems to stand still.

Andalusia: Andalusia is the most southern autonomous region of Spain and its coasts are bathed by both the Mediterranean and Atlantic oceans. The vast stretch of coast that extends along Andalusia is filled with bays and inlets. The offer for visitors is extremely varied, from sandy beaches to those beautiful mountain ranges with their highly interesting fauna, and the famous 'white villages' with their richdom in folklore and artisany. There are great possibilities for most different sports as well, from skiing in the Sierra Nevada to surfing at the coast of Cadiz, where you will find ideal conditions as nowhere else in Europe. Andalucia is the 'mother' of the Spanish folklore: here you will live the magic of Flamenco and bullfighting in their most authentic style. The Costa del Sol offers splendid beaches, outstanding installations and smooth climate.

Sightseeing and Shopping: Worth seeing are the nearby white villages of Frigiliana and Cómpeta, the adorable town of Nerja with its picturesque alleys, the Balcón de Europa as well as the famour caves. Within 45 to 60 driving minutes you can reach Granada, Marbella, Gibraltar, Ronda. Further excursion possibilites are: Sevilla, Jerez, Córdoba, cave houses of Guadix, Morocca (by ship) and much more. On every day of the week, there is a street market in a different town, e.g. Tuesday in Nerja, Wednesday in Rincón, Thursday in Torre del Mar. In the near proximity are two large shopping malls. The provincial capital Málaga with its picturesque old part of the town as well a modern shops can be reached within 20 minutes by car. They grant a discount of up to 10 Euro for bookings earlier than 30 days in advance. Ski: Skiing in the Sierra Nevada: Within 1 hour's drive, you are in the alpine skiing resort of the Sierra Nevada. So you can easily do it as a day trip. Season is from December to May. All equipment can be hired on site. Play golf in the morning, ski in the afternoon. And next day, take a trip to Africa. That's only possible in Andalusia! From November till June offers the Sierra Nevada - home of Mulhacén, the highest mountain peak on the Iberian Peninsula reaching a height of 3,481 metres - an outstanding skiing area with plenty of sun and wonderful blue skies.

Golf: There are 2 golf courses within 10 minutes' drive which are also suitable for beginners and where you can hire the complete equipment. Furthermore, there are at least 30 more golf courses within 1 hour's drive. That's why the Costa del Sol is called the Costa del Golf.

Diese Ruhe-Oase bietet für jedes Familienmitglied die passende Umgebung: Pool für die Erfrischung, sonnige und schattige (!) Plätze zum Spielen und Lesen und eine gemütliche Wohnung, die auch bei heißem Wetter schön kühl bleibt. Und das alles mit Blick aufs Meer und die Berge! Aber auch die Lage ist genial: über das gut ausgebaute Straßennetz sind Malaga, Torre d.M., Nerja und die schönen kleinen Ausflugsziele in den Bergen gut zu erreichen. Und wer auch mal eine etwas längere Autofahrt durch die schöne Landschaft Andalusiens unternimmt kommt leicht nach Gibraltar und Granada.

Wir hatten als fünfköpfige Familie zwei wunderschöne August-Wochen in dieser Ferienwohnung. Unsere 3 Kinder freuten sich am Pool, an den sonnigen und schattigen Plätzen um das Haus herum und an der Nähe zum Meer. Für die Ausflüge nach Gibraltar, Granada, Malaga, Ronda und in die Berge der näheren Umgebung wurde wir von den Gastgebern ausgezeichnet beraten.

Wir möchten es nach unserer Heimkehr nicht versäumen, uns bei Ihnen für die sehr freundliche Aufnahme zu bedanken. Wir haben uns in Ihrem schönen Haus sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und die Vorzüge der Lage und Ausstattung genossen. Darüber hinaus hat natürlich auch das Wetter mitgespielt und wir hatten die ganze Zeit strahlenden Sonnenschein. Dies gepaart mit einer blühenden und grünen andalusischen Natur wird uns lange in bester Erinnerung bleiben.
