East Jutland holiday house: Ebeltoft

We had a lovely time here in Ebeltooft. The weather showed itself from the best side and the 2 of our 5 kids with which we traveled enjoyed both the house and the area itself. The house has a lovely pool and it proved almost impossible to get them out for tea time. The house has everything you require. Well appointed kitchen, cosy bedrooms and a large living room. When we arrived one of the two toilets and the whirlpool was not functional but the owner promptly sorted this out for us. You have to cross the road to get to the beach but this does not really present a problem unless you have very small children ( our youngest are 6 and 10 ) and the tv makes a load buzzing noise when you use it - we used the pool instead. The frigate in Ebeltooft is a definate visit and the town itself is very pleasent. If you want to go out shopping it is best you visit Aarhus about 40 Min's with the car. In Ebeltooft itself there are pleanty of supermarkets to cover your daily requirements. One place well worth a visit is Grenaa which is about 20 min's away with the car. The beach there is really lovely and you can walk for miles ( well you could if you did'nt have the kids with you ). The Zoo in Ebeltooft is nice and you can touch and mingle with most of the animals. We certainly had a lovely time and would recommend this property.
