It is a large Tuscan country house from the 18th century with an impressive main building and 2 attractive outbuildings. We can offer two generous holiday apartments in this wonderful country house. It stands completely alone on a gently rising hill with an undisturbed view of the picturesque landscape of Montepulciano. The entire estate was completely renovated a few years ago, the original structure, however, was retained. Most parts of the house today are used solely by the private owners themselves. This insures a largely undisturbed stay. The large estate of Casella is attractively landscaped with groups of cypresses, lavender and oleander bushes. It is bedded in a broad area that is only used agriculturally. The private driveway, which is about 2 km long, insures complete isolation from traffic noises. The pool (7 x 15 m) with its sunny terrace is off to the side of the buildings.

The most impressive feature of this ground floor apartment is the large vaulted ceilings and round arches in the living room and the master bedroom. What is unusually attractive and characteristic today was put in originally for simple structural reasons. 3 room apartment - app. 125 sqm – large living room, furnished with comfortable and classic Italian furniture (1 large couch, 2 comfortable chairs), adequate to the impressive architecture - sat-tv + dvd + radio/cd – dining room table – neighbouring open kitchen equipped with gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and toaster – two bedrooms, one of which is extremely generous and has access to the terrace, the second is smaller but still large – both rooms are equipped with double beds. All windows in the bedrooms with built-in fly screens. Two glass doors lead from the living room right onto the private terrace. 1 bath with black marble wash stand, shower, and toilet – 1 additional bathroom with wash stand and toilet.

Podere Casella lies between Montepulciano (10 km) and Torrita di Siena (2 km), a small town with a population of 8,000. The attractive old town offers a fine example of medieval architecture and charm. Everything one needs can be found in the town, small shops for food and supermarkets, pizzerias, restaurants, and cafés. Tennis courts and a small café with a public Internet connection are available. The truly favourable location of Casella is an ideal one to explore the whole Tuscany.

Wir wollten uns gut erholt zurückmelden und auch für die freundliche Betreuung bedanken. Wir haben alles zu unserer größten Zufriedenheit angetroffen: die Wohnung ist in ihrem Schnitt und in Ihrer Großzügigkeit sehr, sehr angenehm und lässt auch einer 5-köpfigen Familie bei schlechterem Wetter (das wir Gott sei Dank nur 1 1/2 Tage hatten) genug Raum. Die Ausstattung ist fantastisch. Die gesamte Anlage ist durch ihre extrem ruhige Lage hervorragend geeignet, um sich richtig gut zu erholen. Der Schnitt und die Lage der Wohnungen zueinander ließ uns jeden Freiraum, den man im Urlaub nicht missen möchte... Fam. Brenken, Mainz

Die Wohnung Florenz hält definitiv was sie verspricht. Sie entspricht exakt dem kompletten Beschrieb und den Vorstellung erholungsbedürftiger Toscanareisender. Die Ausstattung ist vollständig und in jeder Beziehung intakt. Das Anwesen wird ausgezeichnet betreut, es fehlt an nichts, so wurde beispielsweise die naturbelassene Zufahrt kurzfristig perfekt instandgesetzt, die Schlaglöcher sind weg. Wer hier seine Ferien verbringt wird nicht enttäuscht werden, im Gegenteil!

ein Haus in der Toskana

Wir 43,41,9 und 7 Jahre alt haben uns in dieser großen ,wunderschönen ,stillvollen,vollständig ausgestatteten und sehr ordentlichen Wohnung äusserst wohlgefühlt.Die Kinder hatten viel Spaß im Pool und die Terrasse vor dem Haus war ab Nachmittag im Schatten (bei ca. 38°C) nur angenehm.
Einziges, wirklich einziges bemängelnswertes Kleinigkeitchen: die Zufahrt ist enorm steil und mit Schlaglöchern versehen, die einen alten Kombi schon ins Schnaufen bringen können. Dennoch... die Kinder hatten im ersten Gang bei Vollgas und enormem Geschepper und Gerumpel immer einen Heidenspaß... ich auch !!

Podere Casella - Toskana perfekt

Podere Casella liegt ca. 15 min von Montepulciano und knapp eine Stunde von Siena eigentlich in der schönsten Region der südlichen Toskana. Neben den bekannten touristischen Zentren bestechen v.a. die malerischen und typischen toskanischen Dörfer und Orte der Umgebung; hier - im Kloster St.Anna - wurde z.B. auch der "Englische Patient" gedreht. Ausgezeichnete (und erschwingliche) Restaurants gibt es in den Orten der Umgebung zu Hauf und wir haben die persönlichen Tips der vermieter (und Gäste) vor Ort als sehr hilfreich empfunden.

Die Wohnung Florenz hat uns durch ihre geschmackvolle und hochwertige Ausstattung (komplette Küche, schöne alte Möbel), ihre gepflegte und saubere Erscheinung und Großzügigkeit (altes Gewölbe) beeindruckt.
Alle Angaben im Inserat waren korrekt, der Service (Abwicklung, Wegbeschreibung, Übergabe, persönlicher Kontakt) waren zuvorkommend, zuverlässig und sehr freundlich und angenhem.

Wir haben die Wohnung bereits Freunden empfohlen und werden selbst wieder nach Podere reisen. Besonders schön (für uns) im Frühherbst, wenn man beim Frühstück über die Postkartenkuliise schaut und der tapfer die steilen Hügel pflegende Bauer das einzige "Störgeräusch" weit und breit bleibt.
P.S. Der Pool ist ebenfalls gepflegt, groß und bietet Ruhe und Ausblick.

Toller Service, Tolles Haus und tolle Ausstattung

Der Service war Super, nette Vermieter. Tolles Haus in traumhafter Lage. Wir würden wieder hier her kommen. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr hochwertig und die Küche ist vollständig nutzbar ohne das man was mitbringen muss. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit weiter emfpfehlen.
