The Finca is about 5 minutes walk from a small village. The village has got a small grocer, a bakery, 2 small restaurants, 2 bars and a bank. It is about 3 km from the beach in San Telmo and about 3 km both from Andraitx/Pto. Andraitx with its lots of restaurants and shopping facilities. The house is built like a loft, one large room of 80 square meters with a double-bed and a single bed behind a curtain, kitchen and dining part and a comfortable fire place.

S’Arracó is a small village in the southwest of Majorca. There is a supermarket, a bakery and a bank. The house is approximately 300 m from the village and 3 km from the next beach in Sant Elm. The famous Port D’Andratx is about 3 km far from here.

Son Vela is a very nice little house for two people, located well away from the horrors of mass tourism in a very pretty valley at the beginnings of the stunning Tramuntana mountains.

I would unhesitatingly recommend it to couples (young or old, or inbetween) looking for a quiet place, yet conveniently located in the somewhat sleepy, but nice village of s' Arraco. It is close to the sea, close to Andratx where more amenities can be found, and within less than 10 minutes of the main road to Palma. There are also some great walks in the Tramuntana srarting from the village itself.

The house itself is well equipped (nothing fancy, but all you need), comfortable, private and has a lovely terrace with great views. We particularly appreciated the owner's (successful) efforts to decorate and furnish the house in the traditional rural Mallorcan style (partly with antique furniture).

Although the living, dining and sleeping area are all in one room, it never felt cramped as the house is quite big.

The (German) owner, a very nice lady living in the house next door, was always available for tips, advice or just for a chat, but never intrusive.

The place is exactly as it is described on this website and the photos are very realistic. If you like what you see/read there, go for it.

haben uns (familie mit 13-jährigem sohn) sehr wohlgefühlt, wurden sehr nett empfangen und umsorgt von der vermieterin,
bäcker und kleine läden in gehentfernung im dorf, nach sant elm oder zu anderen stränden geringe fahrentfernung,
würden wir wieder mieten,
vorteil: im haus schon schirm und matten für strandnutzung vorhanden

die strasse in nähe des hauses ist nur zu stoßzeiten mehr befahren, so dass man auch terasse am abend schön benutzen kann
