National Park Harz:
Do you hike –or do you only want to take a refreshing stroll? Herzberg offers both the close-by woods offer quiet wandering trails which are also suitable for small children. The route to the adventure playground can be reached by tricycle or scooter. At the river Sieber banks can be built to impound the water, ships can be sent to the valley etc. You can also put on your wandering boots and pack the rucksack. You will surely enjoy our roof deck after a day trip. Or would you like a quick swim in the lake? It is only 5 minutes from our house.
The evening can be spent with a convert in the castle or in the cinema.
If you love the countryside and want to get away from the daily hustle and bustle you will enjoy staying with us.
Active or quiet holidays:
If you want to see the Harz Mountains from a completely different perspective it is no problem. In the neighbouring town you can book a flight over the Mountains by airplane or glider. (5 km away from our house). Too high? Then we can recommend a guided tour of the close-by caves. With the bike or on foot you can discover the Karst wandering route.
You can play tennis or visit the mountain Brocken. Pile up the day with events or relax and enjoy the tranquillity of our spacious and comfortable flats. Our large roof deck is waiting for you and the garden can be used for barbecues. We can be booked for a long weekend at short notice.
Relax and discover the countryside:
You can enjoy the beautiful little mountain lakes of the Harz Mountains, for example in the evening, when you swim cross a lake all by yourself. Discover the wildlife and fauna of the Harz Mountains with your children. You will enjoy it as much as your children. A special experience is the Heinz Sielmann Stiftung, Gut Herbigshagen. Here a magic forest, bats and stable tales are on the program. It is close-by, on the way to Duderstadt, an old town with timbre-framed buildings not to be missed. When you enjoy our roof deck after a long day, your children will be looking forwards to the next exiting day. The surroundings of Herzberg offer many opportunities to enjoy the valuable holidays.
