The summer pastures of Lammertal:
Beautiful hilly paths will take you through pastures and clearings flooded with sunlight to the summer pastures of Lammertal. A pasture meadow on a mellow summer day - the promise of relaxation and calmness. Far, far away from the everyday stress. Jus for you. But don't worry, up here you will never be completely alone. Actually, you will be in the best company in the pasture land of Salzburg: 67.000 cows, 2.800 horses, 15.800 sheep and 1.000 goats are spread around the 1.800 pasture meadows. And they are the ones who provide the ingredients for the alpine tasty specialities. And you are in the right place to enjoy the 550 local stalls that are open all summer for the mountain hikers. Butter, cheese and ohter recipes are freshly prepared with the milk of the alpine pasture cows. A spicy brown bred with home-smoked bacon. Living is good in the alpine pastures...
Ski tours or snowshoeing:
We offer guided ski tours and hiking. The tour from our farm house over the Großmauerreith to the Mahdalm or Loseggalm is one of the favorite ski tours in Gosaukam. It is very successful and full of sensations, even if the actual aim is only a crest between Kamplbrunnspitze and Leckkogelt. Bischofsmütze is close and so is Torstein. Ascent: 3 - 3.5 hours. Descent: 1 hour. Height difference: 940 Hm. Snowshoeing is also a great favorite. Wild and romantic, following ancient traces through wintry landscapes, whilst wearing enormous snowshoes that look like enormous tennis rackets. Some locals still have some made out of wood and leather. Nowadays, you will find lighter equipment out of aluminum.

The high and humid biotope of Gerzkopf consists in meadows hosting over 40 different sorts of orchids and wild plants and will offer different sports and leisure activities of different intensities and difficulty. Annaberg-Lungötz district is located at the heart of the wonderful mountains of the Salzburg dolomites (Gosaukam and the unforgettable Bischofmütze) in Lammertal.
