As part of a former winegrower’s property in the middleaged town of Turckheim, our cottage consists of a living and dining room, with kitchenette and a bedroom. It is furnished with local wooden furniture and decorated in blue and white.There is a bathroom with shower, a balcony of 12 sq.m with a dining area and two comfortable deckchairs. You also dispose of a shady terrasse and a closed parking lot. Though in the middle of the old town, the situation is exeptionally quiet. At 10 o’clock p.m., the last nightcryer in France sings his old traditional song under your bedroom window. All shops, restaurants and wine cellers are reachable within a 5 minutes walk. Turckheim is an excellent point of departure for cultural visits. Strasbourg, Freibung and Basel are at about 65 km away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and found this very well equipped cottage an excellent base for touring the Vosges Mountains, the beautiful villages and even a corner of the Black Forest. There is some splendid walking in the area and some good restaurants within walking distance for later relaxation. We particularly liked Caveau le Chemin de Ronde - pity we couldn't eat outside on a lovely evening. Renate is a charming hostess without being pushy.

Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause!

Wer sich hier nicht wohlfühlt ist selber schuld. Bei den supernetten Vermietern fühlten wir uns wie zu Hause. In der gemütlichen Wohnung hatten wir alles was man für einen "Wohlfühlurlaub" braucht. DIe Toplage im Ort und die doch vorhandene Ruhe hat uns den Urlaub zu einem unvergessenen Erlebniss gemacht. Herrliche Landschaft, nette Leute und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt wenn man wie wir die Gegend mit dem Rad erlebt. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Vielen Dank nochmals für die nette "Rundumpflege".

Romantische Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen

Als Frankreichfans waren wir von dieser gemütlichen Wohnung absolut begeistert: Nett eingerichtet, absolut sauber, sogar gemachte Betten bei Anreise, in romantischer Lage, aber dennoch sehr zentral mit einem fantastischen Blick von der geräumigen Loggia. Auch unsere Labradorhündin war hier herzlich willkommen.
Wir bedanken uns auf diesem Weg bei den äußerst netten Vermietern und werden sicher nicht das letzte Mal da gewesen sein.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in einem hübschen Ort

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr ordentlich, nett eingerichtet und für zwei Personen recht geräumig. Außerdem hat sie einen schönen Balkon. Die Straße ist sehr ruhig, nur mit dem Nachtwächter kommen einige Touristen vorbei.

Wer Entspannung, Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben dies alles bei ungemein netten Wirtsleuten gefunden und können nur empfehlen, Turckheim selbst mal zu besuchen.
