La Casa del Pintor is a magical setting in the South of Tenerife, at an altitude of 600 mts. between the Ocean and the Vulcano Teide. This rural complex of the XVIIth Century has been restored with taste and respect for nature. You’ll be surrounded by magnificent gardens with flowers, local plants, cactus, biological vegetable-area, vine and fruit-trees such as papaya-, mango-, pear-, apple-, orange-, avocado-, cherimoya-trees. Light, Art, Colours and Sounds of Nature are radiating abundantly. In the main house lives, paints and exposes his art, the famous painter: Carlo Forte. If you would like to develop an even deeper contact with your inner possibilities and beauty, you can also participate in individual sessions of: Intuitive Painting, Holistic Massage and Chromo therapy, Rebirthing, Craneo-Sacral and Dolphin-Healing. Many opportunities invite you to create your unique holidays.

On the patio outside are a stone oven and a water distillatory typical of traditional island life, which serve as evidence of distant times. A pergola with bougainvilleas offers its pleasant shade in hot days of summer. The garden-patio is an intimate space with table, chairs and sun beds, surrounded by local plants and flowers.

Arona-center is at 5 minutes walking distance. It is a quiet village with some supermarkets, bars, restaurants, banks, pharmacy, and internet cafe. A bus-station is also located there, which gives you the possibility to visit the island by bus, if you wish. Or if you prefer to travel by car: sandy beaches, transparent crystalline waters of the Atlantic Ocean and embracing pine forests are at 15 minutes drive. You reach the Vulcano 'Teide'-area after 30 min. and so many other typical beautiful island-spots will keep on calling you to visit them. And if you like walking: mountain-walks, such as Roque del Conde, are starting next door of La Casa del Pintor and guide you to breath-taking silent magnificent areas.
