Our house has been given the “4 edelweiss” award. It contains an apartment which has been lovingly furnished with plenty of wood. The apartment has two separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen block, and a shower / WC. 50 m² in size, it has plenty of space for up to 6 people. The house is quietly located on a southern slope and it has a beautiful view of the village. In addition to the breathtaking view, we offer our guests a fresh breakfast roll service, table tennis, a barbecue, darts, free sleds, and a new, rustic sauna with fitness opportunities. The center of town, diverse restaurants, the ski bus and the hiking bus all within 5 minutes’ walking distance. The cable car can also be reached by bus or car in 4 to 5 minutes. You will also find a ski and snowboard school there. The splendid Hochkönig region is an excellent family vacation destination, both in winter and summer alike.

Events: The so-called Hüttenroas take place during the summer and the winter. Up to 17 different folk music groups hike from hut to hut. You can obtain further details from us.

Hiking and trekking in Mühlbach: There are 130 km of well marked trails in Mühlbach am Hochkönig, which are suitable for light walks across Alpine meadows or expert mountain tours. The “Königs” tour takes you to Matrashaus, on the peak of the Hochkönig, at an altitude of 2,943 m. There are easier tours though: the Mandlwand route, gondolas and our hiking bus will take you up into the fantastic mountain landscapes, to restaurants in the huts and amidst the meadows.

For our little ones: We take care of our smaller guests. New: fun park by the old age home, free use (roller skating rink, half pipe, volleyball-soccer-handball court, street hockey, etc.). Weekly children’s program in the ‘Schlawutzel Kinderclub’ (children’s club) from mid-June to mid-September with kid’s train and petting zoo.

Ski: Cross-country ski trails for non-skiers: 2 well tended, high altitude trails will entice you into the splendid mountain landscapes. Starting at the foot of the Hochkönig, they take you up to an altitude of 1,500 m. The trails are up to 11 km long.

Super Ferienwohnung, nette Familie, beste Lage

Die Unterkunft ist der absolute Wahnsinn. Es war ein schöner, gelungener Urlaub.Die angegebenen Daten aus der Beschreibung stimmten voll überein. Wir hatten noch nie ein mit so viel Liebe eingerichtetes Ferienheim. Es war einfach zum wohlfühlen. Es war vorallem total sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieter haben sich größte Mühe gegeben. Wir hatten auch stets einen Ansprechpartner, und waren bestens versorgt. Das Feriendomizil ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen, und wir selbst möchten auch gerne wieder hin. Das Wintergebiet ist ein Traum, auch für alle, die kein Ski fahren. Es kommt jeder auf seine Kosten. Man kann schön Spazieren gehen, es gibt einige kleine Städtchen, die man sich anschauen kann, Salzburg ist nicht weit, Langlauf ist möglich, ein Snowpark ist da für die junggebliebenen Actionfreunde, und noch vieles mehr...

Der Vermieter betreibt in der Wintersaison sogar die Eisbahn im Dorf, und der Glühwein und Baumkuchen, den es dort gibt ist für jeden ein absolutes Muss....wer nicht probiert ist selbstschuld...;)

Also, bucht, bevor es ausgebucht ist...;)

Wunderschöner Skiurlaub

Wir (2 Erw. + 2 Kinder) haben im März 2008 eine wunderschöne Woche im "Doerfli" verbracht.
Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtet. Vom Balkon und vom Wohnzimmer aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Hochkönig und kann - sehr zur Freude der Kinder - abends die Pistenraupen auf der Piste beobachten. Der Skiverleih ist praktischerweise direkt im Haus, so daß wir unpassende Skischuhe problemlos tauschen und uns auch nur mal für einen Tag Skier leihen konnten. Morgens hatten wir die Brötchen schon vor der Tür. Danach gings ab ins schöne Skigebiet, welches für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene gleichermaßen interessant ist. (Wir hatten 2 Tage Tiefschnee - einfach super) Abends konnten wir dann noch in dem schönen Saunabereich relaxen....Herz was willst Du mehr.
Alles in allem hat es uns - auch dank der wirklich sehr netten und stets hilfsbereiten Vermieter - sehr gut im Doerfli gefallen. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder!

genau wie beschrieben ...

das Objekt ist wirklich so wie in FEWO beschrieben.
Wir (Mama, Papa & 2Kinder) haben im letzten Herbst eine Woche hier verbracht.
Es war traumhaft!!! Hatten zwar noch keinen Schnee (logisch im Oktober) -aber es war herrlich, der Blick auf den Hochkönig und ins Tal ...
Es ist zentral gelegen, so das man ohne längere Fahrt vieles Sehenswerte erreicht.
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort "sauwohl"!

Das nächste mal buchen wir bestimmt im Winter
(wenn uns Alex das Ski fahren lernt :-)

Kurzurlaub mit Hunden

Wir waren im Oktober 2006 im Doerfli. Das Appartement ist gemütlich eingerichtet mit allem was man so im Alltag braucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Vom Balkon aus gibt es einen wunderschönen Blick ins Tal und auf die gegenüberliegenden Wiesen. Wir waren mit unseren beiden Hunden dort. Im Prinzip kein Problem. Man sollte nur bedenken,dass man sich dort auf ca. 850 Höhenmetern befindet und nicht jeder Hund das verträgt. Da das Haus sich am Hang befindet, darf man sich nicht vor dem ständigen Bergaufgehen scheuen. Wir haben uns im Dörfli sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder dort hinfahren wollen.
