Our vacation home (750 sq ft living space) has room for up to 6 people with 2 - 3 bedrooms and one bathroom and is situated in the middle of hemlock trees on a peninsula directly on the lake. A private road leads in a circle around the peninsula and guarantees privacy. Spacious decks point south towards the lake. You can watch beautiful sunsets, birds or other wildlife. On the lake you can go canoeing, kayaking, fishing or swimming (25 °C warm in the summer. The lake is very clean (the water comes from a protected watershed area). The shallow shore line is safe for young children. Our own well provides you with clean drinking water. Bridgewater is only 5 minutes away by car and you can drive to the Atlantic Ocean with its beautiful sandy beaches in about 15 minutes. Our vacation home can provide enough for people seeking activities or nature as well as serve families.

Our vacation home (750 sft) has room for 6 people with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. It is located in the middle of hemlock trees on a peninsula directly on the lake. A private road leads in a circle around the peninsula and guaranties privacy. The deck is protected in part by an overhanging roof and points south towards the lake. You can watch from there beautiful sun sets. The lake offers a number of sports activities, like swimming (the water reaches a temperature of 25° C), canoeing or fishing. The shallow beach is safe for small children. Our own well gives the best drinking water in the area. Bridgewater is only 5 minutes away by car and the ocean (with its endless white sandy beaches, like the famous Rissers Beach) you reach in 15 minutes. Our vacation home is ideal for active people, nature lovers and also for families and small groups. Deck chairs, canoe (if you prefer with a small motor) and kayak are ready for you to use.

After a rather short flight of about 6,5 hours you reach Halifax International Airport from Europe. From their you drive on Highway 103 about 1,5 hours to your destination on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. In Bridgewater you find all the infrastructure you need, like banks, doctors, post office, hospital and much more. Good restaurants, supermarkets and many stores attend to your needs. Bridgewater has a population of about 7500.
