A lovely 2008 summer holiday

We stayed at this property in August 2008, we being 2 adults and 2 children 7&9. on our arrival we were meet by the lovely Daniella who made us feel so very welcome, she showed us around the property pointing out all the practicalities. The building is so cool, clean and airy with its tall ceilings and ample space. The kitchen is very well equipped which allows you to prepare and cook almost anything. Outside there is an area with a table and chairs right under the olive trees, where you can eat alfresco morning, noon and night. There are local shops within 5 minutes drive, with the old town just another few minutes away. For us the location was perfect, you are just far enough away from the town to appreciate the country side, yet within a few minutes drive away to enjoy all that the old town has to offer. There are good beaches within about 15-20 minutes drive away, and within 50 minutes you can be in Stintino with its spectacular whiter than white sandy beach, but packed in August. We had a great holiday where we were able to enjoy lazy days on the beach, or driving to the inerior to see the wonderful cork forests, then to return to our lovely accomodation to get ready for the evening, either eating at home, or eating out in the old town where there are numerous restaurants, topped off with a fantastic ice cream from the main square in the old town, and just meander through the narrow streets looking in shops, or just people watching.
