Casa Monte Carru lies on the North West coast of Sardinia only a few minutes from Alghero and its the lovely old town. This extraordinary holiday house is situated in the midst of a centuries old olive grove. It offers its guests peace, relaxation, ample space and many choices. Its location makes it ideal for excursions to the city, the coast or the fascinating hinterland of Sardinia. During the renovation, great care was taken to preserve the characteristics of this 17th century country house. The interior has been furnished in a simple, refreshing style. The house is for rent throughout the year.

Alghero is situated on a wonderful bay on the North West coast of Sardinia. It is referred to as the “Catalan City in Sardinia” as it was under Aragon rule in the past. This heritage is visible in the architecture of its buildings and the city walls and towers. Tight alleys, lively squares and the fascinating harbour create the special atmosphere of the old town. The area around Alghero is geologically unique and has a very specific flora and fauna. The archaeological sites also make for interesting excursions. Soft beaches, mighty cliffs, lonely bays and wonderful sea caves invite you to relax and simply enjoy life.
