It is a studio for 4 people, with a separate sleeping corner in the hall, living-room with double bed in wall-unit, kitchen corner and bathroom. The apartment is in an exceptional setting, in the dunes right beside the sea, unique on the Belgian Coast. The reserve Westhoek with 340 ha dunes and forest is nearby (1 km). The Residence Westland is located 300 meters from the city center of De Panne, famous for its restaurants. De Panne has also the widest sandy beaches along the Belgian coast.

The Panne is a lovely seaside resort with a long, broad sandy beach and promenade as well as spreading dunes. It's well-known for its wide nature reserves and the widest beach of the Flemish Coast. Such harmony of sea, beach and dune can be found nowhere as pronounced as in this extreme western corner. There are plenty sports opportunities. Numerous restaurants, speciality restaurants are available. De panne is located next to the historic cities of Bruges and Ghent as well as French cities in Normandy like Boulogne or Calais.

Additional information about rental rates

  • In rental price is parking-place incl. The only additional cost is the expenditure. There are individual meters for each expenditure (electricity, water and central heating). The price of this cost is cheap as we calculate this at cost prices. The guarantee (caution money) you have to pay at the arrival is 175 €. We immediately reimburse you this caution money (175 € less the cost of expenditure) at your departure in case there is no damage and the cleaning is all right.

  • When you don't want to clean up the studio yourself, there is a cost of 40 € to pay. We are in De Panne as well at your arrival as at your departure to explain everything, control damage and final clean-up and settle the caution with cost of expenditure. Arrival on Saturday at 14.00 o'clock and departure at 10.00 o'clock.

Notes: The studio has 3 rooms: living room, hall and bathroom. The kitchen corner and the double bed (in the wall-unit - it's not a sofa bed!) is in the living room. For the kitchen : please see picture 2). Bunk bed (2 single beds one above the other) is in the hall. In the bathroom there is a bath, above a shower, WC. Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are not available and therefore have to be foreseen by you.

Nature reserve 'De Westhoek': The 340-ha-large Westhoek reserve is the oldest Flemish nature reserve (established in 1957). Together with the French Dunes du Perroquet (225 ha), the water-collection area of Calmeynbos/Krakeelduinen (105 ha) and the municipal Oosthoekduinen (60 ha) it forms the largest closed dunes massif along our coast. Fore dunes, mobile and parabolic dunes, dune dips, grey and white dunes, dune grasslands and calcareous swamps form the elements of a lively landscape.

Nature reserve 'De Oosthoek': The actual Oosthoekduinen contain a dune dip richly grown with shrubberty (thickets) and surrounded by higher and less overgrown dune slopes.

Gastronomy: De Panne has never been as gastronomically alert before as it is now. Our chefs and their charming ladies will give you a hearty welcome in an ambience of quality, customer friendliness, creativity and culinary art. These initiatives are mementos forming milestones in the culinary memoirs of the chefs and of their guests as well. The restaurants, marked with a sign in our restaurant list are pleased to convince their loyal guests and many others that De Panne actually is ‘the gastronomic seaside resort’ on our coast and far beyond it.

Wir haben uns superwohl gefühlt. Das Studio bietet einfach alles und noch mehr, was für einen bequemen und erholsamen Urlaub nötig ist. Es war bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal, dass wir dort waren. Sehr zu empfehlen!!!

wir waren im Juli 2009 in diesem Appartement und sind sehr, sehr begeistert. Das Haus steht nicht unmittelbar an der Strandpromenade, so dass man günstigerweise vom Trubel auf der Promenade nichts mitbekommt. Dennoch ist die Promenade unmittelbar erreichbar. Das ist wirklich toll. Der Blick vom Balkon ist wirklich wunderschön und idealerweise hat man ab nachmittags, wenn man vom Tag zurückkehrt, direkte Sonne. Abends kann man dann ganz schön den Sonnenuntergang miterleben. Die unmittelbare Nähe zum Strand war ebenfalls traumhaft. Es läßt sich am Strand wunderbar joggen, der Sand ist dafür sehr geeignet. Die Wohnungseinrichtung läßt keine Wünsche offen und in dem sehr komfortablen Bett haben wir von der ersten Nacht an super geschlafen, was uns sonst nicht passiert.

Die Wohnung ist schön geschmacklich eingerichtet, schöne funktionelle Küche und ein sauberes schönes Bad.
Der Blick aufs Meer und Dünen wie beschrieben, einfach phantastisch.
Der Kontakt mit Vermieter Krista und Norbert war hervorragend.
Wenn es uns wieder nach Belgien verschlägt, kommen wir gerne wieder hierher zurück.
