Be welcome at Richard's Place directly located at the lakeshore surrounded by 26.000 sq. m. private woodland. Your three Star cottage home has two bedrooms with a queen size and a king size bed and a cosy living room provides you with fireplace, television and sofa for your rest. The comfy bathroom provides all your needs (bath, shower and toilet). From the dining area in the fully equipped kitchen you can watch the fog getting up from Molega Lake in the morning and beautiful sunsets in the evening while listening to the calls of the loon. Only 50 m away is a boat deck, from where you can take a swim or explore the great nature of Molega Lake by canoe. Our canoe is for free use, fishing equipment also available. Richard's Place is a good base for visiting the Atlantic Shore, endless sand beaches, lovely fishery villages and lighthouses, for shopping and going out for a delicious seafood meal.

Coming from Halifax International Airport you reach Richard's Place near LaBelle/Bridgewater via Highway 103 within 1.45 hours drive. Bridgewater - with 7500 inhabitants the biggest town on the South Shore and the shopping centre for this area - is located 35 minutes away from your vacation home. Here you find excellent shopping facilities, banks, doctors, hospital and a variety of good restaurants. Since May a cinema has been opened.

Day trips: I recommend the Lighthouse route with beautiful lighthouses, never ending white sand beaches, romantic fishery villages. Day trips to the Keji-Park for hiking or kayaking on the footsteps of the miqmak Indians. Or come and see Lunenburg - this historical place and harbour of Blue Nose II was founded by French, Swiss and German settlers in 1753. Today it belongs to the UNESCO world heritage. Don't forget to taste one of the delicious meals with a variety of fresh seafood (e.g. lobster, scallops, salmon). Only 10 min away from Lunenburg you find the vivid little town Mahone Bay with its famous three churches and crafts shops. Take a day trip to Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia with its amazing harbour. Here you can visit many places of interest e.g. the Titanic Exhibition, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia or the Citadel. On the way back you should see Peggy's Cove.

Summer / Indian Summer: If you come in July to August you find temperatures from 25-30 °C. The water temperature of Molega Lake ranges between 20 to 24 °C - just right for a good swim! A tip for nature lovers: come in the second half of September to Richard's Place at Molega Lake and stay at least until October 14 and you will witness the unbelievable colorful spectacle of East Canadian Indian Summer.

Golf: The golf coures of the South Shore welcome golfers of all abilities and invite you to enjoy the exceptional scenery. If golf is your interest, you should test one of the nearby golf courses: Bridgewater, Liverpool, Lunenburg or Caledonia.

Da wir neu bei FeWo-direkt sind, stammt dieser Eintrag von Besuchern, die im Oktober 2003 Richard's Place besuchten: Sibylle Zimmermann, 'Ein wunderschöne Urlaubsort für Leute, die eher das Natürliche als das Schicke suchen, besonders hat mich die Weite des Landes und die klare Luft fasziniert. Vom Schlafzimmer blickt man in den Wald, von der Küche auf den See. Und wenn man will, ist man in max. 40 Minuten am Atlantik!! Was will man mehr?'
