This architecturally exceptional, prize winning vacation home has a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Constance, the marina, the steep wooded opposing shoreline and the Swiss Alps. The center of town (groceries, baker, butcher, restaurants), the train station and the dock are approximately five minutes´ walk away. The property is situated at the end of a cul de sac. A garden stairway (75 steps) leads from the parking spot up to the house’s entrance. All of the rooms are laid out along the slope in such manner, that one has a beautiful panoramic view of the lake from every point. The living room is completely glassed-in on three sides. A 16,5m2 wood-planked patio is connected to the living room, which has an awning to provide shade. It also includes a sunken tub (1.0 x 1.5 x 0.8m). Each of the three bedrooms has two beds (90 x 200 cm), which are stacked like ship’s berths.

Sipplingen is a recognized vacation town on the north-western part of Lake Constance, surrounded by orchards, forests and steep stony shores. It has a picturesque center with shops for daily needs, restaurants, banks and doctors´ office, a beautiful lakeside promenade with a lido, playgrounds and two marinas. All sorts of water sports are available: swimming, diving, sailing, windsurfing, fishing. An attractive new hot springs 'Bodenseetherme' was opened in Überlingen. The well cleared trails are an open invitation for hikes through the beautiful fields and forests with picturesque views of the lake and the Alps. Cycling tours around the lake are possible, starting in Sipplingen- also in stages with train or boat. Splendid golf courses amidst the enchanting surroundings are an open invitation to play and relax. Überlingen, Meersburg, Constance and the islands of Reichenau and Mainau have much to offer in the way of culture: theatres, museums, art exhibitions, concerts etc.
