Dear guest, our house with mountain view is situated on the edge of the forest in a very quiet residential area. It offers 2 large and comfortable holiday flats for 2/5 persons in a sunny position. You are at walking distance from a tennis and fitness centre as well as many marked foot path. The village centre can be reached by foot through Baderseewald or by car or bus. The flats are supplied with under floor central heating, Sat. TV bed linen and towels as well as a private garage. A telephone is available on request. You can enjoy the mountain view from our covered terrace wich is equipped with seats and table. Should you arrive by train we can arrange to meet you at the station. We do like to please our guests and are always available for questions or special wishes.

The small friendly health resort of Grainau (altitude 750m) is situated at the foot of the Zugspitze (Germany´s highest peak). It is only 5 km from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Grainau is outstanding in its privileged position and the numerous activities offered in summer and in winter. By car you are only a view minutes away from the cog train or cable cars to the mountains - there are ski tracks footpaths and lakes. Daytrips to the Ludwig II castles, Wies church, Ettal Monastery, Oberammergau the famous Passion play village and the nearby towns of Mittenwald, Murnau and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. You are only 80 km from Munich or Innsbruck in Tyrol. For those only looking for rest and peace our place will provide it.

How to find us: From Munich: At the end of the motorway follow the signs Fernpass / Reutte / Grainau. Drive through Garmisch-Partenkirchen then along the Loisach River. At the second crossroad turn left direction Eibsee / Zugspitzbahnen. You are on the Loisachstrasse that changes into Eibseestrasse. When reaching the village square, chemise shop on the left, keep on straight direction Eibsee / Badersee. After passing the access road to Badersee on the left you will see a panel 'Zum Sportplatz' at about 100 m. Turn right over a small bridge and go straight on until you see three garages on the left-hand side just before the bend. You have reached our house.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in der großen Wohnung. An der Einrichtung hat nichts gefehlt. Der Blick auf die Zugspitze beim Frühstück war fantastisch. Alles war sehr sauber. Zu Fuss in den Ort sind es gut 20 Minuten, aber man kann den Bus kurz vor der Tür nutzen. Wir werden bestimmt die Wohnung nochmals mieten und können diese gut weiter empfehlen. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft
