This is a spacious house with two apartments, located right above the dammed Vinuela Lake. It has a fantastic panoramic view of the lake and the mountains. You can plan you vacation, eat your breakfast, or enjoy the peace and quiet on our sunny, wind-protected patio, or beneath the pergola. The heated saltwater pool contains no chlorine. Ideal for swimming and sunning, it is very inviting indeed. Plenty of deck chairs and parasols are available by the pool. The apartments’ tasteful furnishings leave nothing to be desired. Your friendly hosts are always available for advice and tips for outings, restaurants, and the many local sights. Ronda, Granada, Antequera, Seville, and many little white Andalusian villages can be visited on day trips.

It is a very well furnished apartment with 63 m2 of living space and a large patio. One bedroom with 2 beds, 1 m x 2 m, one bedroom with a French bed, 1.4 m x 2 m. An extra bed is available if needed. The bathroom has heated floors, a shower, sink, and WC (second WC and sink). Living/ dining area with a built in kitchen, air conditioning, tasteful furnishings, digital satellite television and international radio program. Breakfast patio with table, chairs, 2 deck chairs and parasols, wind-sheltered and sunny. The house’s heated saltwater pool has velvety water and is just a step away. It contains no chlorine. The apartments are separate from the owner’s house and located on a 10,000 m2, well-tended property. There is an excellent panoramic view of the surrounding villages and mountains. With direct view of the lake.

Lake Vinuela is a dammed drinking water reservoir, located about 20 km from the coast along the A356 between Torre del Mar and Casabermeja. It is about 50 minutes from Málaga airport. To get to Casa Barbara, turn right at kilometre 28, and follow the signs about 2.5 km along the good gravel road. Those who do not wish to search can stop at one of the two restaurants on the right hand side of the road at kilometre 30 (the numbers run in reverse), and call us. You’ll be picked up in about 10 minutes.

Costa del Sol’s lively beaches are all about 20 minutes away, as is the closest of one of many golf courses. You’ll enjoy rest and relaxation by the pool, and during the evening. There are many inexpensive restaurants nearby which offer typical local dishes amidst a friendly atmosphere, free of irritating mass tourism. We will also be happy to look after your children or pets from time to time.

Sports and Culture: A surfboard can be hired for surfing on the lake. Our guests may also use 3 mountain bikes without fee. There are hiking paths around the lake and in the vicinity. Once you are here, we will be happy to inform you about day trips to Andalusia’s cultural sites.

Services: You don’t want to rent a car? No problem. Should you wish, we offer private airport transfer for up to 4 people, including baggage. During your stay, we offer a shopping and driving service, as well as individual care.

Ski: The Sierra Nevada ski resort, in which one can enjoy excellent sports for most of the year, is not more than 2 hours away.

Absolut ruhige und idyllische Lage am Stausee von Vinuela. Andalusien pur. Sehr herzliche Gastgeberin, wir haben unseren Urlaub in angenehmster Atmosphäre genossen. Einrichtung/Austattung vom Feinsten, super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Kommen gerne wieder.

Es war wiedereinmal ein unvergesslich schöner Urlaub im appartement Sol
und ich habe für nächstes Jahr im Januar und im August schon wieder gebucht.um zu verhindern,daß mir irgendjemand dieses herrliche Feriendomiziel vor der Nase wegschnappt.Esist noch zu erwähnen, daß wir
31/2 Wochen herrliches Wetter hatten besser kann es nicht mehr werden.
Vielen Dank auch an Barbara ,die uns immer hervorragend betreut hat.
Wir sind froh,daß wir endlich einen Ort gefunden haben ,wo wir uns rundherum wohlfühlen und nicht mehr nach was besserem suchen müssen.
Es gibt nicht Besseres.
Owner's Response: Ja, unser Wetter hier ist auch im Hochsommer durch den Wind und die trockene Luft gut zu ertragen und auch der Rest des Jahres bietet ein hervorragendes Klima. Also immer eine Reise wert.

Wir haben zum fünften Mal einen tollen Urlaub bei Barbara verbracht. Die Beschreibung der Appartements Sol und Mar entspricht voll und ganz der Wirklichkeit, sie sind perfekt, mit einer ausgezeichneten Ausstattung, so dass wir uns immer gleich wie zu Hause fühlen. Die Aussicht vom Pool-Bereich über den Viñuela-Stausee ist einfach traumhaft schön. Jede Empfehlung unserer Gastgeberin Barbara war ein kleines Highlight. Ausflüge, Abende in den Tapabars, Spaziergänge in der Umgebung bleiben unvergesslich, einfach zu schön. Für jeden, der Spanien richtig kennenlernen möchte und keinen Touristenrummel braucht, ist dieses Feriendomizil zu empfehlen. Ein Aufenthalt in Casa Barbara lohnt sich sowohl für jüngere als auch für ältere Leute, allerdings wäre ein Mietwagen zur Erkundung der Umgegend auf jeden Fall von Vorteil.

Liebe Barbara vielen Dank, wir kommen bald wieder und hoffen, du wirst noch lange dort Gastgeberin bleiben!

wunderschöner Blick auf den Stausee

Wir haben beide Appartements mit zwei Familien gemietet und fanden den Blick auf den Stausee, die idyllische Ruhe, den erfrischenden Pool und die perfekt eingerichteten, gemütlichen Appartements wundervoll. Zu unserem Wohlbefinden hat die nette Vermieterin, Barbara, mit dem köstlichen Frühstück am 1. Morgen, und den tollen tipps sehr beigetragen!
Der höhergelegene Pool lud immer zu einer Erfrischung ein und es wehte meistens ein erfrischender Wind dort.
Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Urlaub !

Wir denken heute noch bei jeder passenden Gelegenheit an unseren traumhaften und erholsamen Urlaub im Domizil Casa Barbara. Unser Bungalow "Sol" war nicht nur 1a sondern hat eine Auszeichnung verdient. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und besonders bemerkenswert finden wir, dass schon zur Ankunft so viele "Kleinigkeiten" wie, andalusisches Olivenöl, spanischer Kaffee und Rotwein, frisches Obst, Wasser, Servierten, Kerzen und vieles mehr vorhanden waren. Aber nicht nur das. Am nächsten Morgen hast du uns, liebe Bärbel, bei einem tollen Frühstück auf deiner Terasse so richtig verwöhnt. Wir waren sofort im Urlaubsfeeling. Und das muss mal gesagt sein: Liebste Bärbel, mit deinem sympatischen und sehr liebevollem Wesen hast du dazu maßgeblich beigetragen! Wir denken nur zu gern an den leckeren Vino Terano am Swimmingpool. Deswegen danken wir nochmals für diesen tollen Urlaub bei dir in Andalusien. Viele Grüße und alles Gute aus Rinteln senden dir Karin & Roland. Bis nächstes Jahr, denn wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
