Uncomplicated little summer house with a cozy terrace in a small, individual vacation complex, ideal for those who enjoy the luxury of the simple life without having to do without that 'certain something'. Lovingly furnished with a cozy living room (sofa-bed for a third person, refrigerator, coffee machine, electric kettle), and a small bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom with shower/WC, and a covered terrace with garden furniture and deck chairs. No kitchen, but with barbecue grill. You can also spoil yourself at the the rustic local maritime restaurant, which offers small dishes or large menus; whatever takes your fancy. The copious breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant or in the beautiful garden. A motivating scenario from which to plan the coming day; whether it be an outing, or an relaxed day by the water. Our beach and landing stage is just 300 m away.

Country Guest House Kiebitzort is idyllically located on the natural, mostly sunny west side of the island of Rügen, not far from the Kubitz Bodden, in the midst of the Mecklenburg-Western-Pommeranian national park. Surrounded by pristine nature, you'll feel as though you're at the end of the world. 300 meters away you'll see nothing but water stretching all the way to the horizon. This is only broken by the beautiful Hanseatic League city of Stralsund and the Island of Hiddensee. This is a fantastic starting point to the many sights on this 926 m2 island. With its craggy, fjord-like form, Rügen has more than 900 km of coastline, with no town further than 8 km from the sea. Germany's largest island is more than well worth visiting. It takes at least a week to see all the important sights.

Third person (sofa-bed in living room) €20.00 per day including breakfast buffet. Children under 10, €10.00 per day including breakfast buffet, small children free if they sleep in their parents' bed.
  • All inclusive weeks: 7 days for the price of 6 during the pre and post season (23.4. to 1.7. and 11.9. to 22.10.05). In each case from Sunday to Sunday, free of traffic jams. Weekdays are also possible upon prior request.
  • Final cleaning / bedding / hand and shower towels €35.00 to €45.00. Dogs €3.00 to €5.00 a day, according to size. Portable TV €3.00 per day. Cot €3.00 per day. The garden houses are closed during the winter.

Outings: Beautiful sandy beaches, steep coasts, reed-lined shores, natural beaches: Rügen's repertoire is inexhaustible. Charming old cobblestone avenues, perfect for meditative outings, lead through the island's interior, which is part forest, and part mountainous. A ride along the spa route from Göhren to Binz, with the nostalgic small-scale train 'Racing Roland', is sure to be an unforgettable experience for every passenger. Upon arrival in Binz, one is sure to feel the unique flair of this Baltic spa, with its artistically adorned seaside-style houses. A ferry trip from Schaprode to the island of Hiddensee is not to be missed. Along with its beautiful, seemingly endless sandy beach, Hiddensee has a unique charm which makes it well worth visiting.

How to find us: Arriving from Stralsund, cross the causeway on the B96 to Samtens. From Samtens via Gingst towards Ummanz. Shortly before Ummanz, turn left towards Lieschow and follow the signs to Country Guest House Kiebitzort.

Wir waren 11 Tage mit Hund hier in dieser Ferienanlage untergebracht. Der Bungalow war so eingerichtet, dass es einem an nichts fehlte. Das Personal war sehr sehr nett Menschen und Tieren gegenüber. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr abwechslungsreich und reichhaltig. Abends konnte man im Restaurante des Objektes essen gehen. Das Speisenangebot war auch hier sehr umfangreich und sehr köstlich. Der Eigentümer kocht noch selbst. Man kann sich hier ausgezeichnet vom Alltagsstress erholen und findet schnell Ruhe. Das Kulturangebot auf der Insel Rügen ist sehr vielfältig und damit findet jeder Gast etwas. Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Störtebeker-Festspiele.

Optimal zum Ausspannen und sich Verwöhnen lassen

Wer richtig ausspannen will und Natur pur liebt, der ist hier richtig aufgehoben. Unsere Ferienwohnung war sehr sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit einer großen Terrasse mit Boddenblick. Die Küchenausstattung ließ nichts vermissen, um auch ein ausgiebiges Menü zuzubereiten - was aber gar nicht nötig war, denn die Küche des Kibitzorts ist ein Geheimtipp für sich!! Küchenchef Henry verwöhnte uns am Abend mit tollen, frisch zubereiteten Gerichten aus regionalen Produkten vom Allerfeinsten. Das war die beste Küche unserer gesamten Ostsee-Rundreise!!!
Und der Hausherr gab uns kenntnisreich Ausflugs- und Insidertipps für die Tagesaktivitäten, so dass wir uns rundum gut aufgehoben fühlten.
Kibitzort ist für alle geeignet, die Erholung und Ruhe suchen (hauseigener Bootssteg und Strand vorhanden), die Natur lieben und sich (auch kulinarisch) verwöhnen lassen wollen und dazu kein Nachtleben brauchen.
Wir fahren ganz sicher wieder dorthin.

Gemütlich, aber etwas abgelegen

Anlage sehr gemütlich. Landschaftlich sehr schön. Bademöglichkeiten weiter entfernt, als angenommen. Das hauseigene Restaurant war wirklich sehr gut. Die Speisekarte hatte leider nur minimal in der ganzen Woche variiert. Die Wege zu anderen ganz interessanten Restaurants sind sehr weit.
