Enjoy 8 miles of deserted Gulf front beaches surrounded by 5,000 acres of Bald Point State Park. Take advantage of Alligator Harbor's sheltered boating and fishing marina. Close proximity to some of the best fishing in the area and less than an hour from Tallahassee Airport make Alligator Point the perfect location for a relaxing vacation. 'Pair-a-Dice' -This spacious, 3 bedroom, gulf front beach home overlooks the Gulf of Mexico as well as Alligator Bay with 90' of private beach. The home's wraparound decks along with numerous windows and French doors, make it possible for one to enjoy a dramatic water view from every room. The home has been completely updated with antiques and nautical handcrafts throughout, a panoramic tiled kitchen and living room for family gatherings, two tiled bedrooms and bathrooms with a captain's spiral staircase to the loft. Special areas are the master bedroom with a sitting area, a fabulous outside covered eating area, and an outside shower.

Central air, charcoal grill, fully furnished kitchen, bedroom with a sitting area, washer/dryers, TVs, cable, and much more. Swimming, fishing, shelling, sunbathing, birdwatching, biking, dolphin watch, boating, great seafood restaurants and markets. (It's worth the trip, just to eat). Golf course is only 40 minutes away. Alligator Point is not for everyone. It is a great place to rest, read and enjoy nature but if your looking for a place to party, this is not it. Alligator Point is a very secluded, residential, unspoiled sand dune.

Come for the beach, the wildlife and great seafood. Panacea is the nearest area for grocery shopping and dinning. The entire area specializes in seafood restaurants and markets.

Wakulla Springs State Park, Panacea Gulf Aquarium, and Apalachicola are great day trips

Family Vacation

This is a great house to take a family vacation. We have 4 kids (oldest 10 youngest 3) and they all loved it. We fished right off the beach everyday and caught Black Tip Reef Sharks, Stingrays, Redfish, SeaTrout and several other fish. We also saw a SeaTurtle and Dolphins swimming. A great area to look for sea sheals. This is a quite location for a family who loves to spend time together. If you are looking for a theme park or some place to drop the kids this is not the place. The house is in great shape and has awesome views. The owner of the house is fanastic to work with. Responds to emails or questions extremely fast and we received our deposit back within 5 days of checking out. The people who live in the houses that are around the house are extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this location for anyone with family or a couple who is looking for a quite relaxing vacation.

Great week

My wife grew up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. My promise to her was to get her back there this year. Unfortunately, her hometown is not what it used to be. We found this property and contacted the owners for more information. Kathy told us that this is not a tourist area, but, is an area where you can get away and enjoy the beach, fresh seafood and each other, without being subject to big noisy crowds. She was right. We enjoyed our private time on the beach and the house was wonderful. We plan to return in the future. Thank you, Kathy, for your honesty.

Great vacation spot

The views from this home are spectacular! Our family just returned (July, 2009) and rated this vacation as one of the best ever. Step down from the deck, and you are immediately on the white sand beach with what seems to be your own private ocean to swim in and explore. The house is tastefully decorated in a beach theme, and the owners were very easy to work with. Enjoyed hiking in the nearby State Park and loved the Coastal Restaurant in Panacea. A highly recommended vacation spot!

Owner's Response: If you are looking for a quiet spot on the water, I don't know if you could find a better spot surrounded by parks, sugar white sand, wildlife and seafood resturants.

Relaxing Family Getaway

It was a perfect family get away........
The house is perfect,very comfortable and right on the ocean with plenty of room for everyone.
Quiet area, a very relaxing environment, and the most beautiful sunsets.

Quiet & Remote

Very nice place to get away from it all. View of the Gulf from the master bdrm is awesome! Great way to wake up every morning. View of the bay across the street out the back of the house is also a nice feature.

We had 3 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room. Beach was very quiet. If you're looking to get away from the world and stay domestic, this is the place to go. Side note - make a good grocery list because it's a good drive to go back.

For food, Angelo's Seafood is about 5-10 miles away on 98 going east and the food was unbelievable - I recommend the stuffed snapper or stuffed shrimp. Both were excellent....enjoy!
