The new property (year of construction 2003) is located at the famous 18-hole golf resort Erinvale near Cape Town. It is a comfortable apartment with high quality furniture for up to 4 people with 185 sqm floor space (an area with a garage) and an attractive own pool (6 x 3 m). The house offers comfort furniture, like the circular stucco, an expensive furnished kitchen with German built-in types, floor heating, elegant built-in furniture made out of Maplewood, desk with telephone/fax, elegant-rustic furniture and noble carpets. It is an ideal starting point not only for golfers, tennis players, water and hiking enthusiasts – all Cape Town sights, the famous wine area, Hermanus with whale-observing and the garden route are in close surrounding or easy to reach. The fenced golf resort (260 hectare) at the end of the Lourensford valley offers great hiking trails at the bottom of the Helder Mountains and direct access to a nature reserve.Vineyards and further golf courses are nearby.

With about 30,000 inhabitants Somerset West offers many conveniences: a fantastic view at the False Bay and the Table Mountain, in the back the Hottentott Holland Mountains, furthermore the Somerset-Mall, a shopping paradise with more than 100 shops and restaurants – 7 days open. A huge range of exquisite restaurants, like the Ou Pastorie, Di´Vine, Stefanie´s Place, The Famous Butcher´s Grill and a lot more make the choice difficult. The famous vineyard Vergelegen with the top 100 restaurant Lady Phillips is situated directly at the other side of the road; at the golf course there is the magnificent Erinvale Golf-Hotel built in a Cape-Dutch style with 2 restaurants, bars and a new Spa. If required, you will find well-equipped German speaking doctors in Somerset West. From Cape Town you get to Somerset in less than 40 minutes (about 50 km on the N2 motorway), from the airport it is about 25 minutes.

Golf: Erinvale – a dream for golfers: the 18-hole world championchip-golf course was created by Gary Player and was the venue for the SAA- Open in 2003 and 2004. It offers fantastic views at the Hottentott-Mountains and the False Bay. On the well-looked after property with its 260 hectare there are golf club house with restaurant and terrace, driving range, putting green, pro-shop, tennis courts and the magical 4-star Erinvale-Hotel in Cape-Dutch style with a new spa. 7 further golf courses are located in a 15 minutes drive distance, 15 further golf courses are to reach in less than 1 hour in the vineyard area and in Cape Town.

Ein entspannter Urlaub in angenehmer Atmosphäre

Ein sehr gut ausgestattetes und gepflegtes Haus in guter Lage. Dank der beiden Ensuite Schlafzimmer ist das Haus gut für zwei befreundete Paare zu nutzen. Wohn-, Ess- und Küchenbereich sind offen gestaltet, dadurch wirkt das Haus sehr offen und großzügig. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eines der schönsten Weingüter Südafrikas, Vergelegen, ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Da macht die Weinprobe noch viel mehr Spaß.
Golfer kommen hier auch auf ihre Kosten, Erinvale ist ein sehr schöner, abwechslungsreicher und auch anspruchsvoller Golfplatz. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und kommen gerne wieder.

Golf Villa Erinvale - super!!!

Nicht nur für Golfer bietet dieses zauberhafte Haus alles für einen außergewöhnlich schönen Urlaub!!! Die exklusive, charmante und hochwertige Ausstattung läßt keine Wünsche offen; sowohl im hübschen Garten mit Pool als auch in der warmen Atmosphäre des Interieurs habe ich alles für einen komfortablen und gediegenen Aufenthalt vorgefunden. Man erkennt sofort den hohen Anspruch des Vermieters. Die Beschreibungen für das Haus und auch die Anfahrt waren exakt und hilfreich; besonders gefreut habe ich mich bei meiner Ankunft auch über einen netten Blumengruß, leckere Weine im Kühlschrank und einen sehr freundlichen Empfang der Hausbetreuung sowie den aufmerksamen Haus-Service. Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt, mitten im Weingebiet und für alle Ausflüge ein prima Ausgangspunkt. Ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant sogar in Walking Distance. Meine Erwartungen sind übertroffen worden und ich habe mit meinen Freunden eine wunderbare Zeit verlebt. Für meine nächste Südafrika Reise buche ich dieses Haus gerne wieder, um meine Urlaubstage in stilvollem Ambiente zu verbringen.
