The comfortable holiday home for 1-4 persons is situated in a newly constructed (2004), quiet and beautiful house in Kenzingen (Freiburg) with a view to the park and the Elz flowing by. A terrace, sun-deck, a children’s playground (50 m) and bicycles (against payment) are available. The holiday home is an ideal starting point to visit not only the Europa-Park in Rust, which can be easily reached by bus (shuttle service), car or bicycle, but also numerous tourist places in Black Forest, the Rhine valley, the Kaiserstuhl, the nearby Switzerland and Alsace. A new golf course (18-hole), a riding rink (indoors and outdoors), tennis courts (indoors and outdoors) and the latest nature reserve in the Altrhein Taubergießen/ Rheinauen. You have the option of boat trips to the Elz (jetty in proximity to the house) and the Rhine. Additional attractions are the historical steam train around the Kaiserstuhl and the historical festival in Breisach and Emmendingen.

The nature reserve can be explored by coach, kayak, fishing boat, bicycle or on foot. The bicycle and hiking trails in the foothills over sunny vineyards and gentle valleys with numerous vantage points into the Rhine valley, upon the Kaiserstuhl, the Black Forest and the Vosges mountains offer a special holiday experience.

Arrival: Journey via the BAB A5: Exit Riegel in the direction of Kenzingen on the B3. Drive through 1. roundabout, right next is Lidl, exit right 50 m after the bank and 5 m after the traffic lights, before the Beller guest house (red building). Travel approx. 300 m further along this small road, then take two rights till you reach the dead-end and you are in front of the house 'Inge am Park', Im Alten Grün 15. Journey by train: IC/ICE station Offenburg or Freiburg, then further by the Regional-express to Kenzingen.

Carnival Museum: The Carnival Museum is open on the weekends.

Golf: New, beautifully located 10-hole golf course in Tutschfelden. Reopening of the Driving Range on May 15th, 2004.

Other Activities: Adventure-Trekking, Bowling, Walking, Bicycle Excursions, Marksmen, training area for Car and Dirt Biking, Gliding and Jet gliding

Superb location for Europa Park and Black Forest

The location of this house was ideal to satisfy my 14 yr old son's desire to visit Europa Park (10 mins by car) but also to visit some lesser known Black Forest 'gems' within 2 hours driving - Freiberg, Todnau (with it's huge Alpine slide) Titisee, Schauinsland cable car, Steinwassen adventure park, etc. House was as described: clean, modern, comfortable, and in a quiet cul de sac in pretty Kenzingen town (also worth discovering, as are some of the walks in the surrounding countryside). Despite the owners not speaking English (contrary to Hol-Rentals description) they were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Be aware that description suggests two bedrooms but we were only provided with one and a pull out bed in the living room, so make it clear to the owners what you want (in German) well before you arrive. House also did not have washine machine/ clothes drier as advertised. Despite these minor dicrepancies, it was one of the best family vacations we've had.

My husband and I were in Kenzingen over Christmas and were delighted by this apartment rental. Everything we needed was there for us. There was plenty of space to spread out and relax. The view through the back wall of windows was beautiful. We walked out the back door to the park which lead to the town. The town was adorable! Everyone was so nice and the food was wonderful. If were are ever in the area again we will be staying here!

Schöne Zeit in tollen Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus liegt super in einer schönen "Parkanlage" mit Fluss direkt vor der Haustür. Alles sehr sauber und sehr nette Vermieter. Sehr schöne Aussicht von Balkon/Terasse. Nett eingerichtet. Sehr schöne Lage.
Bahnhof knapp 10 Minuten entfernt, Supermarkt 5 Minuten entfernt.
Jeden morgen um 9:05Uhr fährt vom Rathaus ein Bus direkt zum Europa Park.
