Photos and Description of this London holiday apartment Lovely 2 BR 1 BA Apartment

The apartment is on the second floor of a modern block called “Rosebank” in Holyport Road, Fulham. There is an elevator, a resident porter, a designated covered parking space and plenty of paying parking spaces in nearby streets. The accommodation is as follows: A large sitting room with dining area, two bedrooms with double beds, one bathroom with bath + shower, washbasin and lavatory, and a second separate lavatory with washbasin, and kitchen fully equipped with new electric stove, dishwasher, clothes washing machine, fridge-freezer and microwave. Central heating and constant hot water are included in the rent but tenants are expected to pay for their telephone calls. Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are provided. The sitting room is furnished with a mixture of Victorian and modern furniture and pictures. The bedrooms have modern furniture and ample fitted cupboards.

All the rooms (except bathrooms) look over the large central garden square, and have a view over the river to a wildlife sanctuary beyond. The apartment faces south-west, has large double glazed windows and is very warm and sunny. There is a small balcony. The apartment is a 5 minute bus ride (or 15 minute walk) from Hammersmith Underground Station and 5 minutes walk from 5 bus routes. There is local food shopping a block away and a supermarket nearby. A riverside pub and the well known “River Café” restaurant are a few minutes walk upstream.

Excellent location, spacious and quite

My family (3 children) and myself had a very enjoyable stay in this property. It is ideally located for visiting the museum in South Kensington, Kensington Gardens and accessing the M4 for Legoland, ro around the M25 to Chessington. These is lots of space, a well equipped kitchen and parking in an underground car park. There are a few parks and playgrounds, shops, a nice pub and a good bus service nearby, also close (approx 10-15 min walk or 5 min on bus) to Hammersmith for Picadilly, district and Hammersmith & City tube lines. I have no hesitation in recommending this property and may stay again in the future.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children

A Good Experience

I had a good experience staying at this rental. The owners live in France, but don't let it discourage you that they are far way. They have a friendly neighbor who lives in the same complex and is there to help you if you have any problems. She will provide you with a map of the area point you in the direction of the bus, the tube, a place to get an Oyster card, and all the local shops.
The flat is very large for London standards. It is very comfortable and has a great kitchen area. The bathrooms are nice as well.
The only disappointment I had was that I partially chose the flat because it was non-smoking, but the rooms had a smoky smell. The smell lasted an entire month, so either the tenants before me smoked quite a bit, or the carpet is just musky.
Overall I had a good experience, and found the listing to be accurate.
