Convivio apartment is in the historic heart of Florence, surrounded by the most famous art treasures of the world. It is in a 12th century building, in the very centre of the city. The apartment is fully furnished and has has every modern convenience including heating and air-conditioning. The apartment is furnished as your home in Florence, with every comfort, as well as books, music & DVDs. It is 5 minutes from the Uffizzi Gallery, The famous Duomo, the Pitti Palace, the famous Straw Market, the Gold Market on the Ponte Vecchio. The street gives onto the Piazza della Signoria, but is closed to traffic & therefore is calm & quiet. It is surrounded by every service -- cafes, bars, restaurants, Amex office, cinema, food shops and more. We also have someone to meet you on arrival and explain all about the apartment -- keys, heating etc. and to be available for any other queries you may have.

I Have been staying at the Convivio Apartment for 7 years now and it really has become my home a way from home. I have everything at my doorsteps from the Uffizzi Palace to the Duomo not to menation all the wonderful little food and grocery shops just outside the front door. The shop keepers go out of their way to remember you and your name and will do anything to make my stay a memorable one - as it always is. The furniture in the apartment is always maintained in top condition as too the linen and kitchen utensils which are an important part of my stay as I love to cook and take advantage of the seasonal produce. The reverse cycle heating/air conditionng which has been installed recently is a fabulaous addition and the apartment is always toasty and cosy after a long day out. When I'm not in the mood for cooking, I love the fact that just outside my front door is a vast selection of very cheap restaurans serving local cuisine and local friendliness. What more could I ask for?

My stay at convivio aptm. in Floence was wonderful. It is really located in the middle of where it is all happening. It is nicely furnished and has everthing one needs, incl. an umbrella!! My time during those 3 weeks was unfortunately not very sunny, but my reason was a culture trip so, it turned out perfect for me. The only drawback may be that it can be a bit noisy during the week-ends at night but, if one gets lucky, there maybe a great italian tenor amongst the "night ouls", what a plus that is!!
I would definitely recommend this apartment.
