The apartment has: a 6.5 m living room w/kitchen (electric cooker and refrigerator), 2 bedrooms, a bathroom w/tub, sink and toilette. There is a double bed (140x190cm) in one bedroom, in the other 2 single beds (90x190cm), a sleeper sofa (140x190cm) in the salon. Excellent quality bed linens. The apartment is tastefully furnished with new typical Spanish style furniture. There is a closet in every room. There is washing machine in the house. There is a large terrace w/grill, parking space and 900 m² property around the house.

The small city of L’Escala is located in the heart of beautiful Costa Brava, 50 km from the French border near the famous resorts of Cadaquès, Rosas (Roses), Ampurias, Estartit and Tossa de Mar. You will find a fantastic place about 3 km further south where the Swiss, Germans and Belgians have built their dream castles: Punta Montgo. This is where you will spend you holiday. Stone pine groves provide wind protection, the beautiful beach goes into the ocean shallow: a paradise, far from noise (train tracks and motorway are 20 km away), off the beaten track (Gerona, Province capital, 40 km away). Even the king found this to be a wonderful area: the bay is called Port del Rei (the port of kings). Your holiday residence is in a beautiful, quiet area, slightly above sea level, 150 m from fine sand beaches, restaurants and shops. Go through a stone pine grove and you are already on the ocean!

Wir haben in der Wohnung im Spätherbst gewohnt. Lage zum Strand und Ausstattung der Wohnung sind gut. Auf der Terasse zu wenig Sonne, was im Sommer aber eher günstig sein dürfte. Allerdings haben wir die Anwesenheit der Eigentümer nebenan eher als nachteilig empfunden. Neben der offen geäußerten Kritik an der Kleidung unserer (volljährigen) Tochter haben wir die Wohnung als letzter in der Saison im vorgefundenen und sauberen Zustand hinterlassen. Trotzdem wurde uns die einbehaltene Garantie in völlig ungerechtfertigter Weise um eine Endreinigungsgebühr gekürzt, obwohl die eigene Durchführung im Vorfeld aktzeptiert wurde. Wer gänzlich ungetrübten Urlaub verbringen möchte, ist in einem Quartie ohne Eigentümer besser aufgehoben.

Die Wohnung entsprach der Beschreibung, Sie war sauber und angenehm. In einem Pinienwäldchen gelegen, dadurch war es in der Wohnung nicht so warm.
Die Vertragsabwicklung und Zusendung des Wohnungsschlüssels lief gut.
Rundrum gibt es andere Ferienwohnungen und Zeltplätze, keine großen Hotels. Zum Strand sind es ca. 3 Fußminuten. Wohnung ist relativ ruhig gelegen. Lärm vom Strand und abends von Zeltplätzen sehr gedämpft. Keine Sicht aufs Meer. Strand ist sandig, etwas kiesig. Ca. 5 Fußminuten entfernt gibt es Felsküste, wo man gut schnorcheln und tauchen kann.
Ein mittelgroßer Supermarkt ca. 2 Fußminuten entfernt. Große Supermärkte ALDI, LIDL am anderen Ortsrand ca. 5 km entfernt. Am Strand einige Restaurants.
Kultur abends auf den Zeltplätzen.
Boote können direkt am Strand ausgeliehen werden. Surfausleihe ist am Strand nicht möglich, kann am Hauptstrand ca. 2 km entfernt geliehen werden. Tauchzentrum befindet sich ca. 5 Fußminuten entfernt. Schöne Umgebung. Gute Ausflugsmöglichkeiten.
Insgesamt ein schönes empfehlenswertes Domizil.
