Photos and Description of this Manacor holiday chateau / country house

This 19th century manor has been meticulously renovated. Located on a hill, it has a wonderful broad view of the little valley. The house has about 120 qm of floor space and has been furnished in a Mediterranean-Oriental style. We have a very cosy salon that is perfect for lounging. It includes a dining corner and a fantastic view of the cloister across from the property. We also have an extensive collection of games. Additionally, the house includes a family bedroom (3 beds) with a bathroom en suite and a cream coloured double bedroom with a balcony and a shell bath equipped with a stereo and satellite TV. The 1,000 m² terrace includes a very romantic patio with half open outdoor kitchen. A large teak table and an old Majorcan stone oven are ideal for cosy get together. A special atmosphere makes the estate so unique. The pool area is outstanding 6 by 12 m.

Your vacation home is located in Majorca's rustic heart. With its wonderful landscape and soft hills, Majorca always fascinates. The finca is located between two inland villages close to the sea which is 15 minutes away. Manacor is the closest large town. As the second largest city after Palma it has a number of restaurants serving local specialties, which are located around the beautiful village square. A number of bakers prepare delicious ensaimadas, croissants and fresh baguette every morning. From the finca's hill, you’ll have a broad view of the valley. Enjoy the space and the solitude.

Day trips: Because of the finca's central location (in the middle of the island) it is ideal for exploring the island. There is a convenient train connecting the village to Palma.

Location: This meticulously restored finca is located on a hill in the island's interior. It has a splendid broad view towards two enchanting villages.

The house: The beautiful patio has a partially open, outdoor kitchen with an romantic original Majorcan stone oven. This is one of the estate's most romantic spots. The terrace is about 1,000 qm² in size and it offers countless sitting and sunbathing areas. During the temperate summer evenings, it is ideal for barbecuing while looking down upon the glimmer of the village's lights. The huge property has a small forest and plenty of space in which children can let off steam. All in one, pure, rejuvenating rest and relaxation. The big pool area invites for a relaxing stay.

Mit groooßer Verzögerung endlich unser Kommentar... wir zehren immer noch und die Begeisterung ist so frisch, als wären wir gestern heimgekommen. Es war unsere 6.Reise nach Mallorca und sicherlich unsere schönste Unterkunft! Als Asien-Fans war die zauberhafte Deko im und ums Haus überwältigend. Für unsere beiden 3-Jährigen waren die Stufen in den Pool spitze zum Planschen, für uns die chilligen Liegen, Hängemattten und wehenden Vorhängen a la SCHÖNER WOHNEN das optimale Ambiente zum Relaxen. Wir hatten bedenken, die Lage ist zu weit "ab vom Schuß", wir waren aber fast täglich unterwegs mit Kind und Kegel sogar bis an die Westküste. Und wir hatten bedenken wegen "Vermieter wohnen nebenan", aber was besseres als Miranda und Tarek kann einem nicht passieren. Selten haben wir so nette und überaus entspannte Menschen kennengelernt... und das 4 Tage vor der Geburt der Zwillinge!!! Apropos, die Twins löffeln sicher schon Breichen-Tapas und machen die Insel unsicher- Glückwunsch nochmal Ihr beiden!! Ebenso entspannt wie die Herrchen sind auch die Katzen Da, wenn Sie sollen, wenn man das nicht mag,auch nicht! Den Tiger hätten wir allerdings beinahe in den Koffer geschmuggelt..Es ist noch zu erwähnen, das auf dem großen Grundstück noch mehrere kleine Casitas stehen ( alle auch sehr schön!!) für 2 bis mehr Personen, so dass man das Ganze auch in einer Gruppe aus mehreren Parteien mieten könnte, einfach mal Miranda fragen. Wir kommen sicher wieder und werden diesen Geheimtipp an besondere Menschen weiterempfehlen!

Die Wohnung und das Ambiente übertraf unsere Erwartungen un ein Vielfaches. Die Einrichtung ist traumhaft und sehr liebevoll mit kleinen Details, die einem vergessen lassen, dass man in einer Ferienwohnung ist, sondern wir hatten eher das Gefühl in unserer Traumwohnung zu sein. Die Besitzer sind vor Ort und bei dem kleinsten Problem sofort hilfreich zur Stelle. Wir waren noch nie auf Mallorca, aber es war sicher nicht das letzte Mal inan diesem wunderbaren Ort. Der Pool ist wunderschön und die Aussicht ebenfalls.

das optimale Feriendomizil

Wir kamen mitten in der Nacht und hatten einen zauberhaften Empfang mit Kerzen,Wein und sogar etwas für den kleinen Hunger. Das war schon mal toll. Die Wohnung ist mehr als komfortabel und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Am nächsten Morgen sahen wir dann die ganze Schönheit des Anwesens und wir haben an dem riesigen Tisch mit Blick ins Tal stundenlang gefrühstückt und den Ausblick genossen.Das Muschelbad ist ein besonderes Highleight.Die Küche ist nicht groß, aber ausreichend,auch für einen Hobbykoch.Uns hat auch der riesige Pool mit seinen diversen Sitznischen sehr gefallen.

Seit 10 Jahren bereisen wir die Insel,haben schon viel Schönes gesehen,aber San Salvar hat alles Bisherige in den Schatten gestellt!!!
Kurz gesagt:wir waren im Paradies!!
Hier stimmt alles:das Haus ist himmlisch,der Weitblick mutet fast asiatisch an,die Stille ist einmalig,und die Vermieter Miranda und Tarek sind herrliche Menschen ....
Alles in allem eine Inspirationsquelle sondergleichen.
Danke Euch Beiden falls Ihr das lest,wir vermissen Euch ganz doll....und freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal in den Osterferien.

wenn man, so wie wir, nicht so sehr auf den Tourismustrubel Mallorcas steht, dann ist man hier goldrichtig. Die Anlage liegt auf einem superschön gelegenen Hügel. Natürlich mit großem Pool.
Leute, herrliche Ruhe und ein Traum,Traum, Traumblick ins Tal. Ja, und im Haus ? Selten haben wir so geschmackvoll eingerichtet gewohnt. Irgendwie magic. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgesuchte ( marrokanische ? ) Möbel.
Jeder Raum individuell. Passte natürlich zu uns !!! Die vielleicht angenehmste Überraschung : die Vermieter. So was von hilfsbereit und freundlich, das mußt du erstmal finden. Immer zur Stelle, immer gute Tipps und Nina bekam im richtigen Moment sogar die rettende Aspirin.
Wir haben schon für 2009 reserviert.
