The house itself nestles close to the famous winegrowing village of Rasteau near Vaison-La-Romaine and is surrounded by a mature garden with its own boule pitch and a 15 m x 6 m swimming pool. The spectacular views take in one of the perched villages Séguret which lies beneath the jagged peaks of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The flat has its own entrance and consists of a living room on the ground floor with its own terrace, a kitchenette, bathroom with shower and bedroom at mezzanine level. The surrounding area which is in the middle of some of the best Rhône vineyards also offers huge opportunities to ramble, climb, cycle and generally enjoy the abundance of Provencal living at its best especially as some of the best wines are in this area. Also within easy reach of the Mont Ventoux, the Ardèche, the Camargue, Avignon, Arles, Orange, not to mention Vaison-La-Romaine with its Roman remains. The house, garden and pool are equally conducive to relaxing and enjoying a rest day.

The vineyard Rasteau is situated 10 km from Vaison-La-Romaine. It is 20 km to Orange and 40 km to Avignon. From the North via the A 7 from Lyon exit at Bollène - then via Rochegude, Ste. Cécile and Cairanne - to reach Rasteau or via Grenoble, Serres, Nyons and Vaison-La-Romaine to Rasteau. From Rasteau you follow 2k the cycle signposts to St. Roman-de-Malegarde. Your daily needs are easily catered for locally in Rasteau or Roaix and any more in depth shopping can be done in Vaison.

Festivals: Various excellent Festivals offer concerts, opera in Avignon, Vaison and Orange during the main Festival season which is in July. Please bear in mind these are very popular and are often sold out unless booked in advance. Again we are happy to pre-book and help if you are interested.

Cycling: Cycling is very popular and it's advisable for you to bring your own bike - you can however hire in Vaison or various other places.

Einfaches aber sehr geschmackvolles und komfortables Studio. Es ist alles vorhanden für einen entspannten Urlaub. Schön auch, dass es keinen Fernseher gibt. Sehr angenehm die separaten Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten. Schön der große Garten. Der Pool erfüllt auch hohe Ansprüche (Poolhaus, Liegen, Auflagen, Sonnenschirme, sep. WC). Die Gastgeber sind sehr diskret und dennoch hilfreich.
Ein Ort der zum verweilen und ausruhen einläd!

Für uns, die jetzt zum zweiten Mal da waren, war es bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei, Entspannung am Pool, Fahrradfahren, Wandern, Schwimmen und und und.

Wie gesagt es ist einfach nur genial und die Vermieter sind herzengute Menschen.

Bis zum nächsten Mal, worauf wir uns heute schin wieder freuen.

maximale Entspannung in geschmackvollem Ambiente

Ein wichtiges Kriterium bei der Auswahl einer Ferienwohnung in der Provence war für uns die Einrichtung: Das Studio bzw. die Wohnung durfte ruhig klein sein, aber bitte nicht mit allerlei Plunder überfrachtet, denn als Wanderfreaks wollten wir abends in angenehmer Atmosphäre kochen, essen, Bücher lesen und den nächsten Tag planen. Das Studio erwies sich als Volltreffer: wundervoll gelegen, heiter und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und durch die großen weißen Wandflächen sowie die Verteilung auf zwei Etagen optisch größer, als die Quadratmeterzahl vermuten lässt. Die Vermieter sind stets für einen da, wenn man etwas will, aber man kann sich auch wunderbar zurückziehen, ohne von den anderen Bewohnern des charaktervollen alten Bauernhauses viel mitzubekommen. Herzlichen Dank noch einmal - es war rundum schön!

Sehr ruhiges Studio in einem renovierten Bauernhaus in Weinbergen und Wäldern. Ideal für Wanderungen und Exkursionen in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung. Besitzer sehr gastfreundlich und nett. Alles topp ausgestattet, gepflegt und sauber. Auch in Kleinigkeiten zeigt sich die Gastfreundlichkeit der Besitzer (Handwaschmittel und Kleenex im Bad, Weinflasche und selbstgemachte Konfitüre mit einigen Rosen in einem Väschen als Willkommensgruß auf dem Tisch). Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und werde bestimmt wiederkommen.
