Open the front door and feel the cross breeze and the grand view of El Yunque Rainforest where the sunsets! The cross breezes are so fresh there is no need for air conditioning. This is truly a very special condo; rarely can you find a place with views from almost everywhere in the condo, sunrise over the Caribbean and sunset over the Rainforest! Amenities: Huge pool 110 feet X 76 feet, 2 tennis courts, paddle ball, basketball. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, high-speed Internet access available (please ask), A/C in bedrooms, cable TV. Activities Close by is hiking, picnicking in El Yunque Caribbean National Rainforest. Beautiful beaches, Las Croabas Nature Preserve and lighthouse with bioluminescent kayak trips, Fajardo airport, ferry service to Culebra and Vieques islands, scuba diving, sailing/snorkeling, boat rentals, casinos, restaurants, shopping, golf. Old San Juan and San Juan Metro area 31 miles. Area: Please call me for more information and availability.

The View of a Lifetime!

As a fellow VRBO owner, I know the wisdom of renting a vacation home directly from the owner. You can't beat the value or service. Andrea, is the best owner I've ever dealt with. The view is breathtaking and can not be fully captured by the photos. We would wake up every morning, have a cup of coffee and just soak it in. The view from the front balcony of the city and rainforest is just as impressive. As two females traveling alone, we felt extremely safe with the 24hr manned entrance gate. Andrea was always there for us, from how to hook up the internet to step by step phone directions when we couldn't find one of her restaurant recommendations. This is a great condo in a perfect location. Fajardo is the place to stay for easy access to the rain forest, boat tours and neighboring islands. We went to Vieques for a night and kayaked the biobay, one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. It's worth the effort. Have fun and call Andrea!

A very pleasant stay

We came to visit family and found the location to be ideal and central to everything we wanted to do. The description of the property was very accurate and the layout and amenities were as described. We found plenty of towels, lots of beach things to take with us and even laundry products for the washer/dryer which saved us a trip out.

The property was impeccably clean. While the owner warned her upcoming guests about the possibility of insects we found not one. The 30th floor was high enough that the windows could be kept open without fear of mosquitoes. It was well maintained and the floors were clean and free of sand and debris. All in all it was a wonderfully clean property.

Perhaps the best aspect of the property was the customer service provided by the owner. She was very responsive replying almost immediately by e-mail and was readily available by telephone for problems in the days up to our arrival. We found Andrea to be delightful in every way and would highly recommend her to others We would recommend this property to others without hesitation.

The 30th floor is very high and I would not recommend this property to anyone with small children unless they are extremely well supervised. Small children are likely to throw things out of the high windows which could result in serious injury to those below. Likewise a tumble out of these windows would mean sure death. The area is too warm to keep the windows closed and there are no screens on the windows that open.

We spend most time with family but many of the restaurants on Andrea's list were quite good. We found a little bakery at the junction where you turn into the complex that made killer Cafe con leche. We went to the El Conquistador several times and enjoyed that. For the Starbucks visitor who simply cannot live without it, there is a Starbucks there that is open from 5A until MN. You have to pay for parking no matter what the hour and that was aggravating.

What a view!

My friends and I loved this rental. It was clean and modern with quality amenities. The colors throughout were bright and cheery and we loved the artwork. The little touches made it homey. Being seniors we appreciated the fact that it was nice and quiet too.
The views are truly amazing. We sat for hours just looking out. You can see the sunrise from the back of the penthouse on the water and the sun set over the rain forest from the front.
We enjoyed finding little restaurants tucked in along the coast and walking down to the little cafe for breakfast. The rain forest is fantastic. I would suggest this rental to anyone looking for a charming Caribbean getaway.

Great Getaway!

I have rented this penthouse twice and each experience was equally delightful. The festive decor set the theme for our vacation.
I can't express what it feels like to look out over the water. Those have to be the most beautiful, breathtaking views I will ever experience. Watching the sunset from the front is a great way to end the day.
The penthouse was clean and bright, with everything we needed at hand, and the owner Andi just a call away to answer any questions we had. There were few other guests during each of our stays and we actually had the giant pool to ourselves several times.
Everything was clean and well maintained.
The beaches are nearby and just Gorgeous. We loved visiting the rain forest. The locals in Fajardo were friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is that we couldn't stay longer. You couldn't ask for a better spot to relax and recharge. Make sure you take the ferry to Vieques!
I feel we really got a great deal and can't wait to go back.

We absolutely loved this incredibly bargain-priced condo! The views were mesmerizing. My husband, a TV addict, never even turned the TV on once in our week there, as "the window channel was better." We watched manatees feed below us in the sea grass and frigate birds float by the windows. The condo is close to the rainforest, close to all the excursion boats, and close to gorgeous beaches. We felt abolutely safe, loved the street vendor food, thought the whole experience was amazing. We will definitely return!
