Area: Safe, privately-owned Jitneys will take you anywhere on the island for $1. They come by the driveway every five minutes. Just take the #10 Jitney to downtown Nassau for duty free shopping on Bay Street. When you are ready to return, board another #10 bus for your return trip to your front door. Just across the street from Tranquility Nassau are two wonderful restaurants and a full grocery store is a 10 minute walk away. For any activity like fishing, sailing, snorkeling, or scuba diving, they will pick you up at the door. You will want to visit Atlantis Casino and Hotel on Paradise Island.

Awesome Trip

I took this trip with my wife, and two sons, ages 17 & 26. The accommodations were wonderful, it was great having all of the conveniences of home which came in handy because we decided to do some cooking after we found out how expensive the restaurants are. The view from the patio was breathtaking, and personally, I would have been happy just sitting on the patio with a cold Kalik beer the entire trip. There is no need for a car because the bus stops right outside of the complex and will take you into town for $1.25 each way per person. If you decide to go grocery shopping, shop at City Market, they have better quality items, and I thought they were easier to get to then the other market. It was such a pleasure doing business with the owner of Tranquility Nassau, he supplied us with such great information about the area which he included in the rental packet. He also made sure everything was to our satisfaction, and has a staff member near the unit in case there are any problems. The day before we left, we rented a Taxi for a half day and toured the island, this was well worth it. This trip was truly a trip to paradise. Thanks, Reid for sharing your home with us…..Rex.

Beautiful location

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We loved coming back after a busy day of "doing" to relax on the porch with the lapping waves hitting the rocks and the beautiful sunsets. The house was well equipped and we enjoyed getting away from everyone. Had some trouble with the oven cooking evenly and within the correct time frame, but not sure if it was us or the oven. Other than that, we enjoyed our time there and would recommend this place to others. Thank you again for sharing your home. :o)

Tranquility Nassau was such a pleasant experience I can't wait until I can make another visit. It is exactly as described. My family and I were very comfortable and fully enjoyed our visit -- absolutely everything went without a hitch -- a most pleasurable experience. Even saw manta rays swimming right from the deck!

My sisters, my husband and I would like to thank you for such a lovely home for our stay in Nassau. It exceeded all our expectations. We spent many hours on the patio listening to the waves and watching the sunsets.
