Spectacular View!! From the front porch you can see the comings and goings on Old Hickory Lake. From the back porch the serenity of the woods and ivy covered hickory trees. This wonderful cabin has it all. Full kitchen, dishwasher, large living room area, fireplace. Boaters paradise! Large Maple tree holds an old fashioned swing. Stroll down to the water's edge and wet a line or take a dip. As night begins to fall, find a place on the bank and watch as moonbeams beckon the water to dance. Listen as fish surface, frolicking in the moonlight. Or just curl-up in a chair and read that favorite book.

I-40 to Exit 238 (US 231 Exit - Lebanon/Murfreesboro/Hartsville Exit); Go towards Lebanon; Go half way around the Lebanon Square; Go out 231 North/North Cumberland; Turn left at the third traffic light (Coles Ferry Pike); Go 8 miles to Cairo Bend Road North); Turn right onto Cairo Bend Road going exactly .7 of a mile; Turn right at stone columns with decorative lights (4145 Cairo Bend North); Continue on the gravel lane; Heron's Landing is the first cabin on the right. I-40 to Exit 232B (TN 109/Gallatin Exit); Go towards Gallatin; Go through two traffic lights; Turn right at Academy Road immediately beyond the LaGuardo Recreation Center; Go approximately 5 miles; Turn left onto Cairo Bend Road North; Go exactly .7 of a mile on Cairo Bend North; Turn right at the stone columns with decorative lights (4145 Cairo Bend); Continue on the gravel lane, Heron's Landing is the first cabin on the right..

Relaxing getaway cozy cabin

Just returned from a weekend at Heron's Landing the cabin was very nice and enjoyed a truly relaxing stay, with a beautiful view of the lake. The weather was perfect, and we enjoyed sitting on the dock in the sun and watching the fish jump. Cabin was clean and cozy we enjoyed it very much. Next time we come to Tennessee will come back to Heron's Landing.

Great cabin with a lovely view of the lake

Spent a fun "ladies getaway" weekend here. The cabin is well-equipped and the setting is lovely. We will return.
If you're looking for a place that has lots of walking space, this might not suit you - the road near the cabin is faily busy, with no good shoulder, but there are parks within a few miles - and the view of the lake from the cabin is great.

This is a beautiful place! The beds were so comfortable, kitchen was immaculate and well equipped, views were excellant from all areas of the house and deck was perfect. The whole house was furnished very nice and comfortable. We were there on the fishing deal with Brian Carper, which was a lifetime of memories! We loved it and look forward to our next visit....

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful time. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The cabin was very nice and Steve and Debbie were very accommodating. The cabin offered everything that we needed and we made ourselves right at home. We enjoyed the fire pit many nights. The lake is just a few feet from the cabin and what a lake. We skied and fished every day without being interrupted by many people. During the week, we might have past another boat about once every 1/2 hour. Its close enough to Lebanon for shopping at the outlet mall and grocery stores. We were also very close to Nashville and spent one day exploring the beautiful city of Nashville. What a trip. I would recommend the cabin and lake to anyone.

A family reunion destination

This cabin was fully equipped with dishwasher, washer and dryer and all of the conveniences of home. It was close to the water and so very peaceful.
We highly recommend this vacation destination. A beautiful part of the state and great rental hosts!
