This first floor, oceanfront condo is decorated exquisitely in tropical decor, enjoys year-round warm temperatures, delightful island breezes, and excellent oceanfront views of Bolongo Bay's tropical beauty and morning sunrises over the Caribbean sea. Condominium is located where you want to be! Central location on the south sunny shore of St. Thomas, between Charlotte Amalie & Red Hook. Charlotte Amalie, known as the duty-free shopping capitol of the Caribbean, is a short 10 minutes drive west, and Red Hook is only 8 minutes drive east, where guests can take a person or car ferry to enjoy beautiful St. John within 1/2 hour ride. We just returned from a 5 day stay in St. Thomas.
This unit was perfect for our needs. The location was excellant, only a short drive to Red Hook or Charlotte Amalie. The unit faced the water, which was only steps from the back door! The sunrises were beautiful and the water calming. This complex is right next door to Bolongo Bay and Iggies Bar was a nice treat in the evening.
The condo was neat and clean and just waiting for our arrival with lights on and a/c cooling. We would definately stay here again and recommend this property.
We ventured to St. Johns for 2 days and visited most of the beaches. The waves were crashing on the north side, so the underwater trail at Trunk Bay was off limits, but Salt Pond Bay (worth the drive) and Francis Bay were calm and relaxing.
We visited Woodys (Cruz Bay) for happy hour both days.
Our adventures on St. Thomas also included visiting several of the beaches, including Magens Bay, which is beautiful. The climb to Mountain Top is worth the views!
The best happy hours we caught on St. Thomas were at The Green House in Charlotte Amalie (2 for 1) and Mollie Malones (drink and appetizer specials). We stopped at Cuzzins for lunch and were entertained by Paul the bartender! Duffys was wild as usual on lady's night!
Driving is a challenge, but seems better to rent a car (we used Budget and had no problems) if you are there for several days. We visited a number of spots while there and took in many sights! I look forward to a return visit as this was my first.
