Two private bedrooms each with a queen size bed share one bath with a Jacuzzi® on the main floor. A large loft with sitting area features two full size beds and a bath with shower. The lower level offers two private rooms, one with two double beds, and the other with two double futons. These rooms share a bath with shower. An extra capacity water heater means hot showers for all! The laundry room features an extra large capacity washer and dryer. There are four cable accessed full size TVs with DVD and VCR players. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. Check out time is 11:00 a.m.

For the comfort of all of our guests, BugaBoo Cabin does not allow pets. Smoking is not allowed inside the premises. Crystal Mountain is a multi-awarded, four-season, family resort. Winter months offer skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, world class cross country skiing, and snowshoeing on the resort property. Bring your snowmobiles and link up to nearby trails just outside the premises! An outstanding children's program allows you to take in the fun while they learn to perfect their downhill technique. After burning up the slopes, enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub or take a sleigh ride under the stars. In the warmer seasons Crystal offers two golf courses to meet every ability. An award winning golf academy provides several sessions to tune up your game. Enjoy the Water Park with climbing wall; challenging mountain bike trails; local fishing; and tubing down the Platte River.

Regular family trips to unique points of interest are also offered by the Resort Activity Desk. Nearby are great antiquing locales. Frankfort, on Lake Michigan, is host to many festivals throughout the summer. Traverse City, Interlochen, and the Little River Casino are all within one half hour of BugaBoo Cabin. For your special group events, we can provide the services of a personal chef and masseuse.

Perfect for large group!

Our whole group, which consisted of 8 adults and 8 children fit perfectly into this well-equipped, comfy cabin. Everyone enjoyed themselves and there was plenty of space to not be on top of each other. Games and movies were provided for the kids in the lower level to keep them just enough away from the adults. A large kitchen table that seats 8 was perfect for our group. It's located on a cul-de-sac so kids can ride their bikes or rollerblade out front. Just a short walk to the pool area (which you have to pay extra for), and golf. Crystal Mtn also provided an outdoor movie at night. Canoeing was about 1/2 hour away. We are planning a second trip this summer to this same cabin. We absolutely loved it!

Excellent Time At Bugaboo Lodge!

The Bugaboo is a wonderfully located house. It is near everything one could possibly want to do at Crystal Mountain. The house is very nicely decorated - a real cabin type of feel; the main level has cathedral ceilings. The owner/managment sent us a packet with instructions, things to do in the area, locations of grocery stores, restaurants, etc. If we had a question, it was answered and the manager was very efficient and friendly. Everything was nice and clean - and we really liked having a washer/dryer available. I would dry the wet snow-gloves and hats every evening. The kitchen has everything one would need. The only thing perhaps lacking was a bit more lighting in some of the bedrooms. Also, the downstairs room with the two futons was a bit cold, but we found plenty of extra blankets in the laundry room. All the other rooms were just fine temperature wise. We loved the main level living room/dining area/kitchen. It was warm and cozy and perfect for relaxing. The sofas were extremely comfortable and the dining table the perfect size (we were 8 adults).
The entrance hall before you get into the house proper is also great - there is a cement floor with long benches and plenty of hooks - so getting in and out of snow gear is easy and you can immediately store your gear.
Everyone who went had a great time - we enjoyed cross country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, a surrey ride and ice skating. The time went by too fast!
We would recommend this rental,and hope to rent here again ourselves.

Awesome Ski Vacation for Everyone

We enjoyed our stay at the Bugaboo Log Cabin. The wood burning stove works great, wood was stacked up right next to the stove. The kitchen lacked nothing, easy to cook for our group of 8. The bedrooms are warm and comfortable, caught ourselves sleeping in. The architecture of the cabin is amazing. Easy walk to and from slopes, we never took the shuttle that came by often. Looking forward to next year.

Family fun

We recently stayed at the Bugaboo with three other families. This is an annual trip that we all take together and I think we unanimously agreed that the accomodations at the Bugaboo were much better than at any place we had stayed in the past.

The accommodations were very clean and everything we could possibly need was available. The home slept 16 (8 adult and 8 children ages 1 to 16) very comfortably and we did not utilize the futons in the basement.

The house is full of games, videos and toys for the children. There was also a large array of linens and towels. Two refrigerators (one in kitchen - one in basement) were also available, making food storage easy.

We prepared all the meals within the home and our only major complaint was that the pots and pans could use an update as they were a bit dingy.

The walk to the main lodge and the pool area was short and easy to do. However, I am sure that in the winter it would be a bit much to manage with little children.

We truly enjoyed our stay here and are already talking about plans for next summer.

We enjoyed our stay in this well equipped home. This is the kind of rental property that makes it easy to be a guest. It was very clean. There were plenty of games, toys and videos for the the kids. It was close to the skiing, but for us with smaller children, a little too far to walk to the lifts. This tastefully decorated home accomodated three families comfortably.
