Waimanalo holiday house

Hi there! We rented Tradewinds for 12 of us (2 moms, one dad, a boyfriend, 2 sisters + husbands, a niece, a nephew and the two of us). We went to Hawaii to get married, and Tradewinds was the perfect location. We were so close to the beach, and the beach was incredibly beautiful, everything you could want. The waves were gentle and the water warm. It took a while sometimes to get 12 people organized, and having the beach right there to hang out at while others took a while getting ready was a huge blessing. Some of the best beaches were nearby as well, with Makapu being boogie boarding heaven, and Haunama Bay being snorkeling heaven. The pictures and website for this house do not lie, it looks identical in reality. It was roomy and spacious enought that with twelve in the house, noone was ever on someone elses toes. The fact that everyone had a bathroom to themselves was also a lifesaver. The pool table was a blast, and made again for something to fill time. We also really enjoyed the backyard with the tiki torches, koi pond and hottub. Oh, and another thing - the whole yard is enclosed with a fence and palm trees, so you are entirely secluded and can lounge on your front lawn in total privacy. The house also had little touches that were nice - there were about 5 adult and two kids boogie boards, lawn chairs on the front lawn, folding lawn chairs for the beach, ice coolers, two enormous brightly colored beach towels in each room, and fresh coffee beans and chocolates in the kitchen. There were a couple small ants in one part of the kitchen, but no cockroaches, and a little bit of Raid cleared up the ants. No biggie, we are pretty fastidious people and the place met our standards. Other than that, the huge living room and dining room was also nice for after our ceremony on the beach, as we came back for cake and toasts in the house. All in all, the perfect place for our family!
