This romantic house on three floors with terrace is very near the beautiful Salute church in central Venice. It is extremely calm, looking on an enchanting and silent big garden. The terraces and the last floors give on the cupolas of the Salute church. The house was part of the ancient St. Gregory abbey as you can see from the antique fireplace and staircase. It is just five minutes from Saint Mark, the Guggenheim and the Accademia. Water taxis arrive just ten meters from the house and the Vaporetto station is just 100 m away.

The house has all comfort, air conditioning included, and although five minutes from St. Mark square it is not disturbed by mass tourism and any noise except from the bells of Salute church. There are plenty of nice bars and good restaurant nearby.

Wir haben das Haus zu 2 Ehepaaren gemietet. Das jedes Paar sein eigenes Badezimmer hatte, haben wir als sehr angenehm empfunden. Kurz zur Vorbeurteilung: Wir wurden rechtzeitig darüber informiert, dass es im Badezimmer ein kleines "Leck" gibt, daher haben wir alles immer direkt getrocknet und aus dem unteren Schlafzimmer gab es keine Beschwerden wegen "Wassereinbruch". Die Lage in Dorsoduro, welches wirklich einen eigenen Charme hat und sehr zentral liegt, fanden wir optimal. Venedig selbst haben wir bei bestem Wetter erlebt, so dass wir uns nicht viel drinnen aufgehalten haben, daher hat es uns auch nicht gestört, dass es leicht angestaubt war. Wir haben es aber als sehr angenehm empfunden, dass es im Haus fast überall Fliegen/Mückengitter an den Fenster gibt. Auch für die Klimaanlage waren wir dankbar. Der Vermieter hat uns wertvolle Tipps und Hinweise zu Venedig gegeben. Hier fand ein sehr netter Kontakt statt! Vielen Dank! Insgesamt handelt es sich um eine typisch italienische Unterkunft mit landestypischem Flair und Charme.

Super Lage aber....

leider ist das Haus zur Zeit in einem Zustand in dem es besser nicht gemietet werden sollte. Der Wohnraum ist feucht, nasse Wand, Schimmelbildung - Wasser tropft vom Bad durch die Decke. Das fanden die dort " wohnenden" Nacktschnecken offensichtlich angenehm, wir allerdings gar nicht.
Das gleiche auf noch einmal vom oberen Duschbad- von da aus tropft es durch die Decke ins darunterliegende Schlafzimmer.
Wir haben das Objekt schon einmal vor zwei Jahren gemietet und waren bis auf die Tatsache, dass Wasser durch die Decke ins Schlafzimmer tropfte ganz zufrieden. Leider wurde dieser Schaden nicht wie angekündigt behoben, sondern es hat sich insgesamt sehr verschlechtert.Auch die Sauberkeit läßt sehr zu wünschen übrig.
Sehr schade, denn es könnte sehr schön sein !
Owner's Response: Die besuchern die davor gekommen sind und die danach waren alle sehr zufrieden ueber Sauberkeit und alles. Es kann sein dass eine Nachtschnecke aus den Garten neben an reingekommen ist. Sicher in Venedig gibt es kein Erdgeschoss der nicht ein bischen Feucht ist . Venedig liegt doch am Wasser. Das Tropfproblem war schon teilweise geloest , es kommt nur wenn mann den Boden des badezimmer am zweiten Stock nass laest. Dieses kleines Problem wird auch sehr bald geloest sein .
