The cultural and economic centre of middle Dalmatia is the beautiful town of Split with its 1700 years old inner city, the palace of the roman emperor Diokletian that has shaped today’s town. This part of the Split Riviere stretches along the coast for over 6 kilometres, with lovely shingle beaches and tamarisk alleys.
