The beautiful and tastefully decorated house with terrace is calmly situated. It is oriented to the south and has a great view on the arboreous garden. The house disposes over a big swimming pool with a swimming lane of 15 m which ends in a 6 x 3 m pool. The large living-room with an affiliated dining-room offers comfortable freshness in the summer heat with its high ceiling, white walls and marble floor. It has three French doors on the garden. There are 2 independent bedrooms, one of them with own entrance from the terrace. There is a stylish bathroom with shower and a separate WC. The American kitchen with bar to the living-room disposes over modern equipment. There is a Balinese pavilion on the property which you can use for romantic nights with an exotic touch. Ideal location for long walks and biking tours.

The charming Provencal village Uchaux is situated in the middle of arboreous hills and vine yards. The house is outside the village in a calm environment. On a short car ride you can reach well-known little villages of the Provence like Gigondas, Suze-la-Rousse, Chateau-Neuf-du-Pape or Rochegude. Take your time to visit the Provencal market in Orange on Thursday where you can buy local products and fresh fruit and vegetables. You shouldn't miss visiting an Opera during the yearly Opera festival in the open-air amphitheatre in Orange, where the best European ensembles play well known classic pieces in a breathtaking location. In Avignon you can enjoy the theatre festival every summer.

eigentlich waren wir ja schon von den fotos im internet von diesem anwesen hingerissen, aber als wir (2 familien/6 personen und hund) 2006 das erste mal ankamen ist uns die kinnlade nach unten geklappt. wir waren echt überwältigt und es sollte der bislang schönste und entspannenste urlaub werden.
uchaux liegt in einer echt ursprünglichen ecke der provence und viele orte haben noch den echten "louis de funes"-charm. letztes jahr hatten wir leider nur eine woche (war absolut zu kurz) und daher haben wir beschlossen, dieses jahr nochmal 2 wochen hier zu verbringen. unsere vorfreude seit der frühen buchung spricht alleine schon für die location. ideal für individualisten, die touristen-regionen nicht so gerne mögen und viel ruhe und savoir vivre lieben.
die umgebeung hat soviel zu bieten (orange, nimes, ardeche, aix en prov. uvm.), dass einem nie langweilig wird, aber schwerpunkt ist ganz sicher der traumhafte pool und das phantastische haus.
