The private, comfortable, and sunny 500sf studio opens to a private patio and a garden with trees and flowers. The studio is on the garden level of a 1920s 3-story house on the true crest of Nob Hill and has its own private outdoor sun deck for relaxing or dining. Best location for seeing San Francisco without a car, and a great hotel alternative when vacationing or attending conventions. Walk to many attractions/meeting sites. Excellent nearby public transportation; cable car 1/2 block away, buses and taxis 1 block, fine markets, restaurants, dry cleaners and laundry within 1-2 blocks. Bus to Moscone Center is 1 block away. 511.org maps public transportation to any location in the Bay Area. Located on Priest Street in the very quiet mid-block area bordered by Washington, Jones, Clay, and Leavenworth streets. Priest Street, a pedestrian lane featured in Margot Patterson Doss' book, San Francisco at Your Feet, has four flights of stairs with just five houses at top.

Additional information about rental rates

  • $900 per Week
  • RATE: $900 per week. ADDITIONALLY, all stays require a 75 cleaning fee per week or part thereof and a $200 REFUNDABLE security deposit. So, for a 1 week rental you pay $1175 and get back $200 deposit two weeks after checkout.

    Minimum rental is for 4 nights or less at $925 ($650 rent + $75 cleaning + $200 REFUNDABLE deposit). For 5 nights it's $1000 and 6 nights $1120. For a one month rental, we give 10% discount on the rent, the total you pay is $4085, which includes $200 REFUNDABLE deposit.

    For stays longer than one week, partial week stay is $130/night.

  • We are happy to address all your concerns by email/phone, including general availability. There is no obligation of holding or deposit on either party until you sign the contract.

    When you are ready to book,ask for the contract. Confirmed booking, subject to availability at the time, REQUIRES:
    1. you print, sign and fax the agreement the owner emails you OR email back a PDF-signed document;
    2. your first payment is received within the Holding Period the agreement calls out for (1 day for paypal/wire transfer/overnight cashier's check for bookings within 30 days -- 5 days for advance booking with ordinary check);
    3. first payment in the Holding Period is 100% if booking less than 30 days prior to Arrival, otherwise 50% with the rest due 30 days before arrival; AND
    4. owner faxes or emails back the signed contract and acknowledges receipt of payment by email.
