Photos and Description of this Smaland holiday house Enjoy the quietness or the Swedish festivals

Tovhem with approx. 160 m² ground surface was lovingly renovated in 2004. It is on a lake plot with fishing rights and a boat. From the terrace and balcony you have a view of the sea approx. 50 m away. Only 150 m away there’s a swimming pool, used only by the adjacent single occupancy houses. It’s not a holiday estate! In the winter the landscape and houses sink peacefully beneath the snow. Whether skiing or on foot the huge surrounding forest will enchant you for hours and hours. You’ll find lots of game and hare tracks, deer, fox and elk. The frozen sea means you can go ice fishing – and then grill and eat your freshly caught fish on the river bank – a wonderful experience! Christmas can be celebrated here just as it is in Astrid Lindgren’s Bullerby books and you can celebrate New Year without the rockets too.

Tovhem is in the Småland highlands. The path to this very tranquil property is through a gravel road without through traffic where houses can only occasionally be seen. It’s a good place for walking and trips to Astrid Lindgren World or the Baltic Sea coast, the World of Glass, to Jönköping or to the golf course in Vireda. In winter skiing and cross-country skiing are very popular. It’s about 12 km to Aneby for excellent shopping.

Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber.
Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht.
Die Hausbesitzer sind sehr nett, sprechen aber kein Deutsch und fast kein Englisch, daher war es sehr schwer, sich zu verständigen. Der Hausherr hat sich jedoch immer sehr viel Mühe gegeben.
Obwohl direkt am See haben wir kaum eine Mücke gesehen.
Alles in Allem kann man hier sehr gut Urlaub machen, wenn man Erholung und Ruhe sucht.
Was man vielleicht noch wissen sollte: Der nächst größere Ort Aneby (d.h. auch die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit) ist ca. 15km entfernt.

Unsere Ferien in diesem Bijoux werden wir immer in bester Erinnerung behalten. Es waren die zwei idyllischsten Ferienwochen, die wir seit langem hatten. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist im "Tovhem" am richtigen Ort. Wir fanden das "Tovhem" sauber, gepflegt und sehr gemütlich vor und fühlten uns von Anfang an wohl. Unsere drei Kinder liebten den Garten, die Bootsfahrten, die langen Radtouren durch die wunderschöne Umgebung und ganz speziell das Nebengebäude, der "Holzschuppen". Falls man sehr früh aufsteht, was einem ja bei dieser sommerlichen Helligkeit ziemlich leicht fällt, liegt sogar ein Tagesausflug nach Stockholm drin (ca. 4 Stunden Fahrzeit). Auf dem Rückweg von Stockholm haben wir in der Abenddämmerung dann sogar ganz nahe vom Ferienhaus einen Elch gesehen. Wir trauten unseren Augen kaum und waren unheimlich glücklich, dass wir so etwas erleben durften. Sowieso sahen wir fast mehr Rehe und Hasen als Menschen. Herzlichsten Dank nochmals an die äusserst liebenswürdigen und diskreten Besitzer sowie an Ingrid Heller für die tolle Organisation und Betreuung!

Idyllisch,ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus zumEntspannen

Unsere Ferien in diesem wunderschönen Haus haben wir genossen. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden und es ist sehr gepflegt. Besonders einmalig war das Farbspiel in der Abenddämmerung über dem See.
Wir wurden durch die Hausbesitzer sehr freundlich empfangen und auch während unseres Aufenthaltes immer gut betreut. Nachdem wir gleich nach den ersten Angelversuchen die Rute abgebrochen hatten, tat der Hausherrn sein möglichstes um das Problem in den Griff zu bekommen. Er war sehr hilfsbereit. Das Haus und der Garten befinden sich in einwandfreiem Zustand. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Im angrenzenden Wald haben wir einige Pfifferling-Stellen ausfindig machen können, aber Blaubeeren waren leider nur vereinzelt an den Sträuchern. Der Weg zum Boot (ca. 300 m) ist mit gelb-roten Bändern markiert. Die selbstgangelten Hechte haben vorzuglich geschmeckt. Gerne werden wir uns an die Tage in Schweden, auch wenn das Wetter leider nicht so gut war, erinnern und das Haus gerne weiterempfehlen. Hej da!

Die Angaben im Online-Inserat waren alle richtig.
Der Zustand des Hauses war sehr sauber und gepflegt, sowie mit Liebe eingerichtet. Die Küche war sehr gross und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Auch Holz zum grillieren und heizen war sehr viel da. Der Aussenbereich war gepflegt. Der angrenzende See ist sehr gut zu erreichen und lädt wirklich zum fischen und baden ein. Wir wurden durch die Vermieter sehr freundlich begrüsst und somit haben wir uns von Anfang wohl gefühlt. Für eine richtige Kommunikation reichte es meist nicht, da die Vermieter nur über wenig Englischkenntnisse verfügten. Trotzdem waren sie immer zu erreichen und haben sich informiert, ob alles i.O. ist.
Für alle, welche Ruhe und Erholung brauchen ist dieses Haus genau das Richtige. Aber auch Familien mit 2 Kindern finden genug Platz. Die Wiese lädt für manches tolle Spiel ein.
