This 3 BR/2 BA corner apartment on the 21st floor of Playa Azul #1 Apt. 2101 has spectacular views of the ocean and the countryside. This Apartment has attractive furniture with a king size bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the 2nd bedroom and a full bed in the third bedroom. This condo offers all the amenities expected in a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped including silverware, pans, utensils, microwave oven, blender coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Also two TV's, 2VCR's, 2DVD's, radio/CD Player, Telephone and Cable TV. The three bedrooms are equipped with A/C, bed linens and bath towels. Playpen is also available. Portable cooler, beach towels and chairs are also available. The unit has wireless internet available. You need to bring your own wireless capable laptop computer.

Amenities: The condo offers all the amenities you would expect in a relaxing vacation. The Condo Complex has a swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground and 24 hrs security guard. The Condo is located in the Luquillo Beach. This is a red-golden sandy beach suitable for swimming, snorkeling and water sports. The condo complex is located right on a semi-private beach all by itself. Use the beach gate and you'll be right on the Playa Azul Beach. It is also located 10 minutes from the Westin Rio Mar Resort and El Conquistador Casino/Resort and 15 minutes from El Yunque National Rain Forest.

It is also only 15 minutes from Bahia Beach Plantation Golf Course Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. It is close to supermarkets, pharmacy and fast food, movie theatres restaurants. The condo is about 40 minutes from the International Airport Luis Munoz Marin in San Juan. Activities:The condo is located between the Westin Rio Mar and Wyndham El Conquistador Resorts and Casinos. They are visible and easily accessible from the condominium (about 15 minutes drive) and offer great nightlife and have championship 18 holes golf courses. It is also about 20 minutes from Bahia Beach Plantation Golf Course Rio Grande. The El Faro lighthouse Museum and adjacent las Cabezas Nature Reserve (phosphorescent mangrove lagoon) are within 15 minutes drive. The tropical mountain El Yunque Rainforest is also 15 minutes drive.

The port town of Fajardo and boat hires for sailing/boating, snorkeling, scuba, blue marlin fishing and ferries to Culebra and Vieques Islands is within 15 minutes drive. Horseback riding is also nearby. No pets, Please.

Summer vacation was a success

This was our first time in Puerto Rico so we were relying on others feedback to help us select our place to stay. This picture is truly taken from the veranda of this condo- the view is spectacular. The beach was easily accessible and not very crowded. the waves were just the right height for my 7 year old to learn to "ride the waves" and for the teenagers to jump around and have fun. The condo was well equipped with beach toys for everyone. There were plenty of towels for everyone, and the washer-dryer helped keep on top of the daily use. The unit is located about 40 minutes from San Juan airport, but it was very close to all of the activities we wanted to do- the most popular rain forest is 10 minutes away where they have hiking to beautiful waterfalls, the bioluminescent bay is also very close and the horseback riding was right down the road. It's a terrific spot for a family vacation, there was a supermarket directly across the street. There were also good restaurants and there is a loose leaf notebook in the condo with suggestions and menus from some of the better places others have gone and recommend. There was a very nice pool on the grounds, which was uncrowded and clean. And plenty of parking very close to the front door. The unit was a good size for everyone to feel comfortable. It was clean and there were extra sheets for all of the beds. The internet was very important for the teenagers and it worked perfectly on all of our laptops. Everyone was very nice-The owners were friendly and cooperative about pre-trip questions and late check-out. we were lucky to have good weather (not too hot as you might think) and we are hoping we can go back again next summer. We can highly recommend this unit for families who need 3 bedrooms with a spectacular view and are looking to see how beautiful Puerto Rico is without being in the middle of major tourism.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

I just returned from one week in Playa Azul and loved the condo, the view, the location and the people. The condo was spotless and well supplied with everything we could need. I shared the condo with 4 friends and it accomodated all of us very well. We enjoyed meeting many of the people who live there enjoyed restaurants they recommended: The Brass Cactus was convenient and good; Kiosk #2 was excellent and Sandy's near the Plaza in Luquillo was wonderful. I visit PR often and plan to return to the condo again.

The best apartment in Luquillo

My wife, three children and I stayed in Jose's apartment for 8 days in late August. We've been to Luquillo before and love the beach, kiosks and the warm reception from the locals.
This apartment has all the amenities one could possibly want. Three beds and two baths is an ideal setup for a family with three kids. We had great amenities, a spectacular view, all for a fraction of what we would have paid at one of the resorts. We really appreciated having coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards and a great hammock. We would definitely stay here again. Food in the area was great overall. We would definitely recommend La Parilla (Kiosk #2). The Brass Cactus was okay for a quick burger. In Fajardo, Rosa's near the ferry terminal was excellent, as is Pasion por el Fagon (on the road to Los Crobas, just above the Fajardo Marina).

Thank you for providing a great base for a memorable vacation. We'll definitely be back soon.

We have been going to Puerto Rico for 20 years and
this was easily the best rental property we stayed in.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything
was in perfect working order. The rental transaction
with the owner was very professionally handled. We
plan to rent the apartment again next year.
