Located on a quiet Cul-de-sac, this immaculate home features vaulted wood ceilings, wood interior, and a wood stove. It comes fully furnished including appliances and linens. It has two bedrooms, one bath, a kitchen, and a three door drive through garage for your vehicles and snowmobiles. Betsie River Getaway is located in the heart of Northwest Michigan and provides an environment rich in outdoor opportunities for every taste and age.   • A refundable damage deposit of $200.00 is required for first time rentors. Reservations are confirmed with credit card or when a deposit of 50% of the total rental fee is received. Written cancellations more than forty five days in advance of the reservation date are eligible for full refunds. Between forty five and fifteen days before the reserved date cancellations will be refunded at 50%, or 100% if the reservation dates are filled. Cancellations received at less than fifteen days before the reservation date are not eligible for refunds.

A beautiful combination of privacy, wilderness and access to all season recreation. The Betsie River Getaway is located in a charming riverside woodland, where guests can experience a wide variety of activities along with just relaxing in the rocking chairs on the deck. Spectacular bird watching during the day and attended a fabulous Interlochen concert in the evening. We visited last year and plan to make it our vacation spot for years to come. Cabin is lovingly maintained and the owners provide excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

Cozy Betsie River Getaway

This was our first visit to Michigan. The cabin was more that we had expected. Eric was very helpful in answering our questions about the area. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a restful vacation. We really enjoyed the hummingbirds, wood peckers and finches at the feeders behind the cabin. It was so quiet. Coffee on the back deck each morning and even a campfire with mountain pies and a pesky little chipmunk in the wood pile.The first evening my 12 year old son caught a beautiful 9" rainbow trout from the dock behind the cabin. With the help from the local fly shop, I even caught some nice trout with my fly rod. We went canoeing on the Lower Platte River for a lazy afternoon, enjoyed some great food at the local restaurants, The Sleep Bear Dunes were amazing. I am sure that we have a great picture of the kids for our Christmas cards this year. Had a fun day poolside at the Crystal Resort a mile from the cabin. We went shopping in Traverse City and played some mini golf one day as well. We saw a lot of the local area and when we come back to Michigan we will stay again at the Betsie Getaway.
