Island Getaway: The cottage is a few feet from the bay dock. Unloading and settling in is easy. Once settled in, there is fishing, exploring the island, walks on the Gulf beach, shelling, and any aquatic adventure you’d care to initiate. The lack of a bridge means that traffic is by foot, or golf cart (rentals are available). If you want a change of pace, this is definitely one place you should check out.

island itself is so pure and untouched, people there very friendly. little house was nice,and close to the beach and the bay. everything in the house is little old and I would say needs improvement and change, from kitchen dishes to the furniture, but me and my family do not spend time inside, instead we use every minute of outside fun , it didnt bother me much. little house, fits many people and the puppy, which was great. it is definitely worth it for the money we payed, and we will go again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities

This property is everything as advertised and more. Perfect for those who need to get away, leave their shoes by the door, stick their toes in the sand and dive into the long lost art of relaxing!

The owner and owner representatives were just wonderful. They made us feel like family. The home is comfortable and spotlessly clean. The whole experience took me back 45 years to my Florida childhood long before commerce and progress took hold. How wonderful it was just to breath!

The island is a nature lover's dream. Long winding sand and shell roads lead you to new discoveries with every turn. Both beach and bay offered unique moments of serenity and peace each in different ways.

When excitement is needed...we just made it up ourselves. The television never went on and in fact we didn't even notice it until the last morning!

There was only one negative I must say and that was the slight tinge of anxiety that comes over you on your last morning...when you realize that you have to leave.
