The farm house on the Canaries has a completely furnished integrated kitchen, 2 rooms with a double bed each (1.90 m x 1.50 m) and (1.90 m x1.40 m) double mattress. You will have German TV programmes. Linen and towels are also available, as well as kitchen gadgets, dinner and silverware. The house has a balcony and a washing machine, 2 terraces, a lawn and a balcony. Upon request, we can offer weekly cleaning service and linen change for a small surcharge.

The house has challenging country side surroundings, approx. 500 m above the sea level and about 15 minutes by car from the capital Las Palmas, where you can find the famous city beach ‘Las Canteras’. There are only 5 minutes by car to the Sta. Brigida, with the historical town center and good shopping facilities. There you can visit the weekly market for vegetables and fruit. The only bathing beach in the South of the Island, with warm temperatures even in the winter can be reached within 45 minutes by car. The airport is only half an hour away. Climate information: In the summertime, the temperatures are between 20 and 26 °C, and in the winter time, between 15 and 21 °C. Sometimes in the winter months it rains. This is why even this part of the island has rich vegetation.

"Nicht nur die Unterkunft war begeisternd, sondern auch die Betreuung durch die Vermieter. Dieser Urlaub wird uns durch die Besonderheiten, die uns das Ferienhaus geboten hat, nachhaltig in Erinnerung bleiben.
Besonders als Ausgangsort für Fahrten/Wanderungen in die Berge ist die Lage des Quartiers sehr geeignet.
Wohnen zum Genießen!
Für die nächste Reise nach Gran Canaria kennen wir schon unsere Unterkunft.

Idyllisches Ferienhaus

Wir schließen uns den Lobeshymnen unserer Vorgänger an. El Sosiego ist ein schnuckeliges, museenhaftes Häuschen.
Wohnzimmer, Eßzimmer, 2 Schlafzimmer, Küche, Bad, Balkon: alles komplett eingerichtet und funktionstüchtig. Weniger Komfort wird durch Gemütlichkeit ausgeglichen.
Idealer Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Insel mit dem Auto und zu Fuß.
Die Vermieter sind ein bemerkenswert unaufdringliches und hilfsbereites mehrsprachiges Ehepaar. Nochmals herzlichen Dank.

Für erholungsbedürfte und stressgeplagte Menschen ist dieser Ort genau richtig! Da man aber "Selbstversorger" ist, sollte man einen fahrbaren Untersatz parat haben, auch wenn regelmäßig Linienbusse in dem Ort und auch nach Las Palmas verkehren. Man ist einfach unabhängiger und kann seine Zeit genauer planen.
Das Haus ist idyllisch in einem mittelgroßen Dorf gelegen und bietet alles, was man auch selbst zu Hause hat. Für Fernsehsüchtige ist SAT-TV vorhanden; für Internetsufer der WLAN-Anschluss (haben selber ausprobiert).
Die Vermieter sind unaufdringlich, jedoch jederzeit bei auftretenden Fragen ansprechbar und hilfsbereit.
Von dem Standort aus lassen sich sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel besuchen.

Das Ferienhaus "El Sosiego" ist wirklich ein Paradies für alle, die abseits der Touristenströme individuell Urlaub machen möchten.
Wer Pools, Trubel, Nachtleben und Strandnähe sucht, für den gibt es in den Touri-Ghettos im Süden genau das Richtige. Ich jedenfalls war ich nach einem Ausflug dorthin heilfroh, wieder "zu Hause" zu sein, zumal ich diese Ecke der Insel für eine der schönsten und grünsten halte.

Toll das Haus, athmosphärisch und eigen im besten Sinne des Wortes, große, bequeme Betten mit sehr guten Matratzen in beiden voneinander getrennt liegenden Schlafzimmern, eine herrliche Hexenküche, beste Möglichkeiten, sich auf eine der drei Terrasse bzw. Balkone aufzuhalten. Fernseher, Wlan,Toaster, Saftmixer usw. - alles da!

Aber - das alles ist nur ein Teil, warum ich mich über drei Wochen hier sehr wohl fühlte. Denn es weht ein "guter Geist" der Gastgeber über das Anwesen die gleich nebenan wohnen, was ich wirklich als Bereicherung empfand.

Ich habe in ihnen tolle Menschen kennengelernt, mit sehr viel Feingeist, Kunstsinn und Lebensfreude. Und das machte den Urlaub
erst zu etwas ganz Besonderem.

Einfach prima!

Wir durften zwei Wochen zu Gast sein und waren sehr zufrieden. Eigentlich bleibt uns nur, uns der Meinung der Vorredner anzuschließen: ein schönes schnuckeliges Häuschen, zwei Etagen (plus "Schreibstube im Türmchen"), ein überdachter Balkon mit der Möglichkeit, die Mahlzeit auch im Freien einzunehmen. Gleiches war am Hauseingang auch auf der Eingangsterrasse möglich. Unten ein kleiner Vorgarten mit Liegestühlen zum Sonnen. Der Empfehlung zu einem Mietwagen schließen wir uns auch an (Stellplatz war vorhanden). Man ist so relativ schnell in den Bergen, aber auch via Autobahn im Rest der Insel.
