2 BR /1 BA Condo in Melrose Place type building. Unit is in a secured building, top floor condo overlooking newly renovated pool area. Complex amenities include community laundry, game room and heated pool. Unit is freshly renovated with everything brand new. Features include: TV, Surround Sound and DVD player for the occasional rainy day. Unit comes fully furnished with a Queen size bed in the master bedroom, 2 twins in the guest bedroom, sofa and even a inflatable queen size mattress for the surprise guest staying over. Walking distance to beach is less than 3 minutes from the front door to the Gulf of Mexico. Beach has full snack bar and restrooms. Walking distance to St Pete Beach landmark restaurants, PJ's Seafood & Oyster Bar, Woody's and Philthy Phils & Oystercatchers.

Melrose Place Just Fine

Hi, I stayed with my daughter 4 nights in mid-January,'09. This spot was just what we were looking for : low cost condo accommodation within walking distance to my son's college kids' pad on 77th. Place was very well equipped. People were friendly but not nosy. Did laundry in common room on site. Management off site but attentive and professional. Place has more of a residential than resort feeling. Beach is 5 minutes walk. Weather ranged widely from 40's to 70 January not an ideal time for sunbathing. Only downside of condo was that no direct sun gets to living room due to configuration of walls on second floor of building. This made for a very dark living room which in summer may keep it cooler. Close to all St Pete Beach attractions and public transport. A very good value for the price.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

FANTASTIC PLACE. EVERTHING CLOSE AT HAND, SHOPPING,WALKING, SITE SEEING AND COFFEE ON THE BEACH AT SEASIDE GRILL EVERY MORNING. ENJOYED THE POOL. CONDO IS GREAT, LOTS OF ROOM. WE LOVE STE. PETE'S BEACH.
