Our house in located in Malix/Graubuenden, 1200 m high, 6 km south from Chur, the capital of the canton, on the way to Lenzerheide/Julierpass. The property has 1300 m². On one side of the street, there is a mountain torrent. The parking lot is directly by the house. The village has approx. 650 inhabitants, and it has a tradition in timber construction since 1981. The windows have been renewed in 2001, 2002 and 2005. The interior design is made of wood. The size is: approx. 7,50 x 7,50 m. There is direct access from the street to the upper floor with hallway, WC; eat-in kitchen, living/ bedroom, and kitchen with dish washer, fan oven and microwave. In the kitchen, there is a door to the north balcony, garden and parking place. There is a bigger living room with access to the south balcony. Downstairs, there are 2 comfortable living/bedrooms (18 m² each), with 1 double bed (180 x 200 cm), and 1 room with 3 bedrooms, 2 bunk beds (100 x 200 cm) and 1 fold away bed (1,80 x 1 m).

It is located in Malix - Graubuenden - not far away from Chur, on the way to Lenzerheide- Julierpass – Albula- Engadin - St. Moritz - St. Bernardino, heading Tessin. There are good hiking paths, which go directly by the house. You can reach the post office and the bus station in only 5 minutes. Shopping facilities are provided by the good shops in Malix and in Churwalden. You can shop on the farmers’ market as well. In Chur, you can find everything what your heart desires. It is a very beautiful historical city, with 4 museums, churches and cathedrals (diocesian city). You can also visit the theatre, and many other places of interest. There are wonderful restaurants in Malix, such as Belvedere. There you can also find Pizza places and Hotel Hoehe.

Further information: There is a big ski circus in Parpan. Lenzerheide is within a 10 minute drive. Rothorn and Staetzerhorn are almost 3000 m high. There are good cross country skiing runs (60 km), indoor swimming pools are to be found in Chur and Lenzerheide. You can play tennis in Alvaneu. In Churwalden, there is an open air swimming pool and many water sports facilities on the Lake Heidsee. You can play golf in Lenzerheide and Alvaneu (9/18). In Churwalden, there is a huge summer toboggan run.

Für den großen Aus- und Weitblick

Die Tage in diesem viel Wärme und Persönlichkeit ausstrahlenden Haus mit großem Badezimmer (!), direkt in den Steilhang hinein gebaut mit grandiosem Aus- und Weitblick haben wir sehr genossen. Liebevoll und individuell eingerichtet, selbst von ihm bewohnt wenn nicht vermietet, gibt dieses Haus viel über die Persönlichkeit des Vermieters – Sänger und Schauspieler – preis. Und der Ort Malix hat etwas Besonderes: Direkt an der Tourismusachse Chur-Lenzerheide gelegen sind uns doch in Malix nur wenige Touristen über den Weg gelaufen. Wir haben es genossen, quasi mitten im Dorf unter Einheimischen zu wohnen – Kirche und Gemeindekanzlei gleich nebenan. Super Infrastruktur am Ort und in nächster Umgebung (Churwalden und Chur). Und von Malix aus können durch die zentrale Lage viele Tagesausflüge mit dem Auto unternommen werden. Der Vermieter liefert hierzu super Tipps. Oder direkt vom Haus aus auf die Malixer Alp wandern und den fantastischen Rundumblick auf 1.800 – 2.000m in die hochalpine Bergwelt hinein genießen. Wer Ruhe sucht in grandioser Natur dabei aber nicht die totale Einsamkeit wünscht, vielmehr bei Bedarf angeschlossen bleiben möchte ans Leben für den ist dieses Domizil sehr empfehlenswert

Ein sehr gemütliches Holzhaus mit zwei schönen Terrassen und herrlicher Fernsicht. Das Haus ist ein
Eldorado für Leute die gern lesen und es sich am
gemütlichen Skandinavienöfchen bequem machen und auch gern wandern. Auch für Ausflüge mit dem Auto
gibt es viele Möglichkeiten. Für Kleinkinder und gehbehinderte Menschen ist das Haus sicher nicht geeignet. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und erfüllte die Wünsche einer Hobbyköchin.

Sehr gemütlich und wohnlich zum Wohlfühlen

Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und sauber, sehr umfangreich ausgestattet und man kann sich wie zu Hause fühlen. Im Gegensatz zu klassischen, sehr sterilen Ferienhäusern, in denen eine Bestandsliste jeden Gegenstand akribisch auflistet, kommt man hier in ein "bewohntes Haus" im positiven Sinne - so umfangreich und komfortabel, wie man es bei einem eigenen Haus machen würde. Ob man die konkrete Einrichtung so mag, ist natürlich Geschmacksache, aber dazu sind ja die Fotos da, die einen realistischen Eindruck geben.
Wer einen penibel gepflegten Garten bevorzugt, wird enttäuscht sein. Er ist eher "natürlich" gestaltet und dichten Bewuchs von den Nachbarn getrennt. Unsere Kinder (7 und 9) haben sich pudelwohl gefühlt.
Für Unternehmungen in Graubünden ist die zentrale Lage fast optimal.
Alles in Allem waren wir außerordentlich zufrieden, natürlich auch mit dem Kontakt zum Vermieter. Wo sonst ruft der schon mal in den ersten Tagen an, um nachzufragen, wie es dem Gast behagt?
