Canmore holiday house

Amenities: The house features an open concept main floor with cathedral ceilings. The spacious entrance opens into a large living area with TV, DVD, and gas fire place. The kitchen seats 8 comfortably around the harvest table. Off the seating area of the kitchen is a large south facing deck with furniture, hot tub and gas BBQ. The fenced yard has a swing set, and fire pit. Two bedrooms are on this floor as well, one furnished with a double bed and the other with a double futon. The large master bedroom is upstairs with a queen size bed, TV/DVD/VCR, and a spacious 4 piece en-suite with its signature claw foot tub. There are two other bedrooms upstairs, both with double beds. There is also a powder room on the upper level with the laundry facilities. Each room upstairs has vaulted ceilings and wonderful views. The basement is a separate entity, has a large and very comfortable double pull out as well as its own full bathroom, heating system and another queen bed.

Activities: Canmore is nestled in the Rocky Mountains just 15 minutes from Banff National Park. There are several hikes to do in the area as well as world class mountain biking, downhill skiing, Nordic skiing and golf. The Canmore Recreation Centre is a 5 minute walk from the house and has a gym and pool. Across the street from our house is a large park which has tennis courts, ball diamond, soccer field and play ground/swings.

Area: Canmore is 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Calgary International Airport and 15 minutes from Banff National Park. Our house is a 10 minute walk to downtown and the Canmore Recreation Centre and Canmore Golf Course. It is a 5 minute drive to the Canmore Nordic Centre. It is a 40 minute drive to Kananaskis Country.
