Watch the Beautiful Sunrise Come up Over the Lake, Sit on the Large Deck and Listen to the Loons or Enjoy the Bonfire Pit Under the Stars. Truly a 'Bear's Hug' Inn

This was truly a warm and friendly home to stay in. Every detail speaks of the thoughtfulness that went into every room. There is something beautiful to see where ever you look. And Corinne thought of everything that one might need such as having sunblock and bugspray out on the deck to having soothing aloe lotion available after spending too much time in the sun! Staying at this home is really like a 'bear hug' every time you walk in. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!!!

We arived to a vary clean and well kept home, to is noticeable that the owners care about there home.
For use it was great, three adults and 2 young children (3-5). The home was stocked with everything you would need and much more. If it's not there you did not need it. I can't speak about any of the games or computer stuff. If we we not sleeping then we wre out side, the outside was all we could ask for, my wife liked the fact she could se the kids from inside the house, the dock was good the sand bach was as I had hoped, the boats were fun, the pontoon was fine, a little older but the good part was you did not have to worry about it, and for me that make's a differance. After all your on vacation. We went into Alpena and road bikes 3 days and had a great time, It is vary flat and great for younger childern. We also went to the light house's and my 5 year old son and our Au-pair from Brazil thought it was great...and that is all that matters. The owners were nice, we recieved our deposet back with out issue.
We tryed to respect there home, We hope other do as well, for the price it's a good value and we will be back. That's we had a great time!
Now back to the rat race.......Thanks.

Perfect spot for our young family

Spent a week there in August '07. Great location on the water to get away from it all. Good fishing. All the comforts of home. Pontoon boat was adequate, but could use a depth finder and an overhaul. Easy communication with owners. Deer in the yard early in the morning.
