Photos and Description of this Cape Town holiday house

The Cape-Dutch residence Schöngelegen is located on a quiet area, on a dead-end street, in Somerset-West by Cape Town. It offers a spectacular overview towards the whole Cape. There is room for 4 (max.5) people. The house has two double bedrooms, with a bathroom for each. An open kitchen with the adjacent laundry is attached to the large living room. You can watch TV or make phone calls in the second, smaller living room. A garage and a Car-port also belong to the house. On the garage there is an extra sun deck. In front of the house there is a dinner terrace, while the breakfast terrace is behind. The swimming pool is located in the perfectly private garden behind the house. Our dear cleaning lady comes 1-2 times per week to clean, wash and iron. We pay attention ourselves to your possible wishes and smaller problems.

Somerset-West is surrounded by charming golf courses and excellent restaurants and wineries. Thanks to its hillside situation it offers wonderful views over sea, cape, Cape Town, Gordansbay and the wine-growing district. The place is ideal as a staring point for tours into the vineyards, heading Stellenbosch, Franshoek, Paarl. The nearest beach is 10 minutes away. This beach is ideal for children and it invites you to take walks admiring the wonderful horizon. The Heroes Mountain as well as the natural reservation offer fantastic hiking facilities, marvelling at the fascinating diversity of the flora in this country. The beautiful art market in town, which takes place on every Saturday, is also a nice alternative. Thanks to the freeway connections, there is no problem for you to make trips to the most important places of interest in and about Cape Town (Table Mountain, Waterfront, Greenmarket, Cape…). The nearby coast routs are a breathtaking dream.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The prices adjust themselves especially according to the renting time. The rent prices depend on rent season, time and number of people, and it is between 50 and 150 € a day. For long-term reservations we offer appropriate flat rate prices. Please ask the owner yourself. The rental fee is for up to four people. The hirer lives on location.
  • The wages of the cleaning lady, as well as the garden and pool service are included in price. The price also includes all the additional charges, such as water, electricity (…) and the charge for the German television. Only the telephone fees will be calculated separately.
  • We are also pleased to put a golf equipment or a mountain bike to your disposal.
