Our villa is located on the tranquil gated community of The Manors North at Westridge. After a day round the parks, there is nothing better then retreating to the peace and quiet of this location. A Publix supermarket ,shops and banks are 2 minutes away.Several championship golf courses are in the area, including the Greg Norman designed Champions Gate, which is a 5 minute drive away. The villa is spacious and comprises of Master bedroom with ensuite,access to the pool area. Safe in closet for valuables.Two (2) twin rooms sharing separate bathroom ,lounge, utility room, double garage, fully fitted kitchen. Pool area is screened with covered lanai and patio area. The pool can be heated during the cooler months at an additional cost. The lounge has cable TV and DVD/CD player and Master Bedroom has cable TV. The Manors also has the additional attraction of a heated community pool, which can be used by all rental guests and a small fitness room. Tampa and Gulf Coast is just over 1hr away

Great place to stay!!

We have been to this home 2 out of the last three years. First time was in April of 07 with all three of our kids. We had plenty of room and they enjoyed the pool. The most recent was this past March. My husband and I brought our 3 year old for a much needed vacation. Sue is such a nice person to work with and answered any questions we have had. We looked forward to our arrival since we new what to expect! The home is very clean and I dont believe it needs any painting anywhere. My 3 yo didnt want to leave when it came time to. Our stay was supposed to be for 8 nights but we sent an email to Sue to see if we could extend it 3 more nights. She was very quick to respond with a "yes". You will not regret staying here. We look forward to going to Florida again and will most definately stay here. Thanks Sue!

Good value, owners easy to communicate with

We Stayed here in May 2009, (Just left) On arrival villa was very well presented, Clean, Tidy (furniture, carpets clean, villa does not require painting, had every amenity we required, Photographs and description very accurate, My family and I have stayed in 4* Thomas Cook villa's which have not been as good as this one!!! Originally booked for 3 nights, loved villa, decided to extend our stay to 6 nights, which was sorted with a quick email to owner Sue,
Internet access very useful, used it to communicate home, and also check out places of interest and restaurants.
Owners were very easy to deal with,
Main benefits to us were, Clean villa, with good facilities, good location, and dealing with good honest people. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
When we travel to Orlando area again we will stay here.
Tip, sat nav was $140:00 with car rental.(we declined this) purchased one from walmart, for $128.00,

Everything we needed for vacation

My family and I stayed at this villa in April 2009. The villa had everything we needed and we were very happy with the accomodations.

Sue was VERY easy to work with and she always was responsive to any questions I had for her.

The villa was what we expected on arrival and had been nicely prepared. I think it could benefit from a coat of paint to spruce it up but that was of no consequence for us but a potential renter may want to know this prior to renting. We were glad to have the use of a clothes washer and dryer, blender (for frozen drinks!), toaster, and food cooler for trips.

It is located less than a half hour from the Orlando attractions and just over an hour from Tampa. A grocery store, super Walmart, restaurants and drug store are all nearby so very conveniently located.

The pool area doors both have child alarms which is a high priority with our small children. There is a community building with an exercise area and community pool within a short walk.

I would stay again and highly recommend!

Good bargain, great location, friendly owners

We stayed at this Villa the entire month of March, 2008 and it felt like our "home away from home". We were centrally located with easy access to major highways. An important fact as we attended many baseball games in Lakeland during spring training. It is also an easy drive to Disney and other major Florida attractions. The area is experiencing a building boom and there are new shopping centers nearby as well as the established shops in Haines City.

The Villa was comfortable and cozy. The pool area was well maintained with pool maintenance done weekly. It was also a plus to be able to walk through the backyard to the community pool for sunning and a swim in a large pool. We loved the Westridge community! There was Wifi internet access for the Manors at Westridge which we appreciated to communicate with family and friends back home.

Ronnie and Sue are wonderful to work with. They are very accomodating and flexible. Eagle Management was also very helpful.

Some areas needing improvement are: shampoo the carpet and furniture, the master suite mattress was uncomfortable (we puchased foam padding and that helped), ceiling fans in living room and master suite would help with circulation, and the interior could use a "freshen-up" coat of paint. These were minor flaws as the price of the Villa was a bargain compared to the other Villas in the area. We paid extra to have the pool heated for the month. That was a necessity as some nights in March the temp. reached a low of 38 degrees.

We would definitely recommend this Villa to friends for a relaxing, no-frills, stay. We are planning to return next March for the 2009 baseball spring training season.
