If you want a nice place to relax, within walking distance(about 30 min) to Savusavu, this is ideal. If you don't choose to walk, there are several daily local buses that cost about US$.35( FJ$.70) or frequent taxi's that cost about US$1.50( FJ $3.00). Less than ten minutes walk towards Savusavu is a very nice small resort (Daku Resort) with a bar and restaurant. In Savusavu itself are several very good restaurants and adequate grocery shopping including a daily, except Sunday, farmer's market.
Internet service is available in Savusavu but the cottage also has a high speed broadband connection that can be used for no additional charge.
Kitchen: a complete kitchen with dishes, pans, utensils, a 4 burner gas stove with grill and oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, double sink with hot water and lots of preparation and storage areas.
Living/Dining areas: Table and four chairs, computer nook, love seat and two overstuffed chairs, TV/DVD and Stereo CD/MP-3 disc player. Good reception from our one national TV station - FIJI 1.
Veranda: Large enclosed area with table and chairs and two large comfortable chairs, a hammaka, in addition to the sleeping area. Open porch on one side and back of the cottage.
Bath: large tiled bath with hot water shower, two separate sinks and vanities, toilet and washing machine. Towels are provided.
Phone: a phone for local or emergency calls is provided. Inquire for the number. Phone cards to be used for long distance calls can be purchased in Savusavu town.
Activities: Swim and snorkel right in front or at many places along the road on either side. Good fishing nearby.
Kayaks and bicycles are also available for rent at $70FJD each for 1 week or $15FJD a day.
Car and driver for hire also available upon request.
