Turn of the Century Beginnings ... The Beach House is a turn-of-the-century, twenty room home that was used as a boarding house for young college women working in the large luxury hotels of the lumbering era in Northwestern Michigan. The grandeur and elegance remain, recalling the values of a bygone age. Today it has been fully restored and offers a new haven for visitors. The Beach House offers a decor of charm, full kitchens and cozy living rooms which all contribute to the perfect getaway anytime of year. Our roomy lakeside balcony is a delightful spot to laze in the warm summer sun over a good book, capture a magnificent sunset, or just plain relax overlooking one of nature's most beautiful lakes. With a stones throw, enjoy the sandy beach and a refreshing dip in the crystal clear water.

    All rates are based on double occupancy. Children under 14 years of age are Free! The rate for additional guests, 14 and older, is $10 per person per day. All Daily Guests Must Be Registered!

    A deposit of 50% is required to guarantee a reservation. The balance must be paid 30 days prior to occupancy. Check or Money Order accepted. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit will be forfeited.

Just What We Needed

Our extended family of 24 rented the entire house for a week,
it was one of our best vacations. The house is great, very unique,
and comfortable in a cottage-like way. Located in a small town
with little shops and restaurants, yet only 40 minutes to Traverse
City, you can enjoy whatever you are looking for. We enjoyed the beautiful lake and beach, and the stunning sunsets from the balcony deck. We relaxed, enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to go back. Thanks to Bonnie (the innkeeper) for all her help.
