Photos and Description of this Minnesota holiday cabin Peaceful 2 BR 1 BA Northwoods Lake Cabin

Newly remodeled 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin. Bedroom #1has full size bed and walk-in closet and a great view of the surrounding woods. Bedroom #2 has a twin size bunk beds. Bathroom has a shower/bathtub combination. Bring your own towels. The main room is a great room style with fold out couch for sleeping and updated kitchen. Great room looks out to front deck with its beautiful views of newly landscaped yard and lake.

Newly landscaped yard has rock surrounded fire pit. Lakefront has 12 foot dock, with sandy beach and hard sand bottom. Canoe also available. This cabin is on Ham lake 6 miles from Nevis, MN, 13 miles east of Park Rapids MN and 17 miles west of Walker, MN.

Ham Lake is a peaceful lake known for it's great fishing for pan fish, largemouth bass and northern. Come watch the beautiful sunsets that family memories are made of. BR B Activities: /B BR The Park Rapids/Nevis area, has many attractions and activities such as: *The Heartland Trail-Great for hiking, biking and roller blading. *At least six golf courses within a half hour drive.

Cabin on Ham Lake

We stayed at the cabin on Ham Lake from 6/26 - 7/3/09. We had beautiful, perfect weather to match the beautiful, perfect accomodations. The cabin was wonderful; a nice, quiet area and very clean. We enjoyed fishing, boating and swimming on the beautiful lake, off our own private boat dock right across the road. Our party consisted of my husband, myself and three teen-aged girls, and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves, and were not cramped into a hotel-sized space. We have stayed at other cabins in the area as my husband is originally from Park Rapids, but this cabin was the best - hands down. Thank you so much, Kent and Jeff, for taking good care of us. We will definately be back.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
